My biggest pet peeve is when a little kid stares at you for 5-10 minutes straight. And I'm not talking a cursory, interrupted stare, I mean a full-on, directly facing me, I-can-feel-the-person's-eyes-burning-my-soul kinda stare.
BMW318_DRIFTERC'mon, that's just not cricket.
TheCrackerThere seems to be a lot of paranoid people in this thread, so many...
... i hate it when people walk behind me at the same speed..
...i hate it when people look at me...
Come on guys, you need to spend more time away from those screens - your starting to drift away from reality.![]()
Another pet peeve I have is when people dismiss my pet peeves as paranoia. I'm not paranoid; I just fear everything.TheCrackerThere seems to be a lot of paranoid people in this thread, so many...

People yelling out of anger. I know we all do it, but when I hear someone else do it, it just grates on me to no end.![]()
I can't stand people who tailgate while driving. I even get annoyed when sitting in the passenger seat of my friend's car and he's inches away from the car infront of him. What's the point of following so damn close??? You're not getting to your destination any faster by riding the person's rear bumper! Another thing would be the idiots who drive on the left lane pacing the car on the right lane and doesn't have the common sense to move over to the right lane for the 30 cars that he/she is holding up.
So, What choo lookin at boy?One of mine is when walking some were, and a black dude says "What you lookin at?"Before I look at him....![]()
Definitley people who watch me surf the internet. I'm ok with people watching me play a game, but it's different for when I'm reading web pages.
Uh oh, here I go again! (Thanks Foolkiller, for bringing this to mind)
I cannot stand people who talk, or do something similar at movies. Talking is of course rude, and if you're not going to watch the movie, why did you pay $9? Did you just want to sit down? "Something similar" refers to people who feel it necessary to voice their reactions to certain parts. I'm not talking about screaming during horror movies, I'm talking about people who vocalize "oh no!", "what are you doing??", "oh my gosh", and other asinine wastes of vocal chord power. I'm not sure people realize that it is possible to sit through an entire movie without opening their mouths (breathing and yawning excepted, although some people also do those things loudly).
Still on movies....CELL PHONES! Every theater has a reminder to turn your cell phone off, yet people don't seem to get it. Is it really that hard to remember that 1)you have a cell phone and 2)maybe you should check to see if the ringer is still on? I'm annoyed by my own cell phone ring (thankfully it's usually in my pocket on "vibrate"). I can't tell you how much I hate other people's phones going off and disturbing me, especially if 1)they have a really annoying ring or ringtone and/or 2)they have the nerve to actually answer it (I've seen it happen).
