Hey the concept is pretty cool, 800hp and it looks maniac. It's worth the money.

The most rip off road car though is the GT road car. 2 Million and it isn't even as fast as a Ferrari enzo or a McLaren F1.

This is a very good shout, vision from inside is absolutely terrible also (the race version is even worse for visibility)

I'm not sure what the worst value for a street car is. I'm thinking the Enzo or the Vw Nardo concept, because they basically drive the same and you have to restore the volkswagen. I'm positive the worst racecar value is that R8 lms, though.

Surely you mean the R10 (diesel dog). The R8 is one of the best cars in the lineup!
 
This thread is a "I suck and cant drive these cars, therefor they are a ripoff" thread?

Mclaren F1 and Ferrari Enzo being mentioned? Fantastic cars, the F1 is the fastest road car in the game, around a track.


Gonna have to vote for that WW2 floating jeep thing personally.

Depends how you define value for money, if your talking outright performance compared to similarly priced cars then obviously yes.
If you define it by other criteria like the unique character and handling aspects, nothing in the game offers something similar (apart from the Kübelwagen perhaps) regardless of price.
I love these Veedubs, got 2 Schwimmwagens and 2 Kübelwagens (and maybe I'll buy 1 more of each to complete the Wehrmacht set ;)) and they make the most sense offroad where they're a hoot to drive when tuned that is.
Basically I treat them like buggies, very expensive buggies I'll give you that.

I know it's a pretty high price to pay for this car as it costs around 300,000 depending on the mileage, plus I also think that it's the worst value road car in GT5 (and GT4 for that matter) considering it only has about 100hp, but it's definitely worth the money as it's such a good car to drive once fully modified.
 
@Bigbazz: Your right ;) Enzo and the McLaren are very nice Cars (a little challenge with suspension etc. and throttle control but fast Cars).

R8 LMS a bad Car ?? What ?? It has insane amount of Grip and that with 1300kg => its heavier than other Car its class => a bit slower.

@TheFlyingKiwi: GT Concept Road Car (with the V8) is faster than Enzo or F1 (eventually not faster than the F1 but close) just because it has Insane Downforce !!!
1:04.865 at Supercar seasonal Eifel (without Turbo but with all other mods (no Chassis Reinforcment) and RS) try to beat that with an Enzo for example.


Jay Leno Tank Car is still the Winner in that Categorie ;)

Especially when the real car recently sold at auction for only US$1.7M.

But in truth, any votes in this thread for anything other than the Pree-us should invalidated. That one is the open-and-shut winner, errrr, loser. My garage has two. Would've had three thanks to a 1000 ticket, but I immediately sold that one. Seeing it emerge from the gloom after I cashed in that ticket was the biggest disappointment I've had in the game.

The Tesla is also a waste of space. Probably has redeeming features, but isn't interesting enough to learn how to drive properly.
