I hope they revamp the game in a big way graphics were not bad for premium cars and I totally agree that there should not be any standard cars in the game also the sound of the cars have to be better.
In my opinion they need better choice of cars such as SL65 AMG Black, RUF RGT-8, BMW M6, Koenigseg and more, customization of cars such as bumper's, bonnet, spoilers, adding front downforce and being able to add decals would add much more replay value to the game, also get rid of the limiter in GT5 i think that ruins the game in a way and makes engine tuning much easier. When i first started playing GT5 it did not have the power limiter so it made the cars more fun to tune for the performance points and more satisfying when you got it right.
I've just started playing forza 4 going into my 3rd week i feel that it is a better game yes there is some BS in it but I had to look past that for now just so that i can get a good feel for the game and I was not dissapointed I think forza 4 is what gt5 should of been like with the amount of years that went into making it but never the less GT5 is a great game that set the driving simulator standards, but right now it looks as tho they are playing catch up to forza. I really hope that Mr Kazunori has a proper look at Forza 4 because this time round turn 10 really has brought a brilliant driving sim to the market.
At the moment i'm having a serious debat with myself GT5 or FM4? which of these 2 will i be playing permanently and as of yet cannot decide and will have to hold that thought until I can test FM4 with a wheel that has good feedback, I think once i do that i will know for sure which game I will be playing.
As for the BS in FM4, ok there is some server issue's which in my opion not that bad GT5 has black screen issue also which is a similer thing, but the real BS is in the driving you see in GT5 you put on traction control and you will notice that you will be slower on the corners in FM4 it actually makes you faster like your on grippier tyres or something which is annoying since every1 wants to use aids to be competitive. On GT5 i always have no aids and tune my cars to suit my driving style but on forza no way will you ever beat a guy thats already fast with traction control on no matter what you do to your car, is that realistic? or is gt5 more realistic in terms of how traction control works?
If there isnt much improvement on GT6 from GT5 then i'm off to FM5 forget GT series if they want to be stubborn and give us recordings of a hair dryer for an engine sound then be of with you.
Ah just 1 more thing, the comparison of the Nordscheife around the Nurburgring, this should be an interesting topic and maybe needs a thread of it's own, right even though FM4's Nords is not accurate to the distance it does feel more genuine to me. It gives you a good feel of the elevation (the bumps, up and down hills) the sudden loss of grip when you reach the peak of a hill at full spead the massive piller pavements that were not meant for you to drive over really adds the feel of a real environment, just try driving over those huge curbs in real life at max speed for that corner in real life u will most deffinetly flip the car as it does in FM4.
Nordschliefe in GT5 is still very good and more visually accurate but in my experience not as challenging and you dont feel the peak of a hill in GT5 carrying speed as u do in FM4 also the kurbs in gt5 are not scary and never flips ur car no mater how hard or fast u drive over them.
