This is hopefully the sort of system they'd go for (if they implement it of course...)
It is a bit annoying when people keep saying
...implement a livery editor, as long as there's no spongebob please...
...implement body modifications, but nothing chavvy please...
Why? I'm not about to get all freedom of expression here, but who cares what other people choose to do to their cars? If little Timmy wants a widebody kit and a spongebob sticker on his Ferrari then so what?
If anything, won't it just make it more satisfying to beat them?
What on earth do you do in real life when you see a ricer? Surely you just deal with it, perhaps laugh at them, and get on with life?
Maybe you've got a decent car and you take tremendous pleasure in beating them away from the lights. Now you have the opportunity to revel in that satisfaction online as well 👍
Is a vulgar spoiler on a Jaguar going to actually negatively impact on your life? I don't see how it can, so the concept of 'if you don't like, don't look' surely applies here?
I don't like Celine Dion's 'music', so I don't listen to her records. Problem solved...
Apologies for the rant, it just seems a bit counter productive to try to impose limits on a feature before it's even actually been implemented. Although I suppose by my own logic, I should just ignore it
I'd say having some sort of tagging ability is fairly important, so you can both find liveries you do want, and avoid those you don't.
