Would you like PD to defect from Sony and go multiplat with extra emphasis on PC?

GT on PC will never happen. PC gaming in Japan is a very small niche market, unlike in most western areas (although currently declining), and most japanese PC game companies, in addition to being very small, are mostly specialized in static, graphically non-intensive 2D adventure games/visual novels.

Like a lot less people playing it online since Micro$oft charge an arm and a leg for Live Gold? Especially for working class people like myself.

That's pure fanboy ignorance gold right there!

I pay less than £30 a year for my XBL subscription (around 55pence a week) That's about $1.20Nz. Even if I bought my XBL subs from Microsoft I'd only pay around 85pence a week.

Surely even the lowest paid working class Kiwi who could consider the expense of a gaming console in the first place could aford that. I'd be willing to bet a lot of people who complain about the price of XBL spen more a week on cigarrettes than they would for a years gaming pleasure.

As I own both consoles I can tell you with an informed mind that although it's nice the PSN is free XBL is a much much better service and well worth the pocket change that it costs.

I do however agree with this:

But yeah, they need to stick with Sony and the PlayStation.

But purely because if they went to the expense of trying to take on the Forza series on the same platform PD would be annihalated.

(Never thought I'd say that, but it appears that PD have voluntarily abstained from the throne)

I don't play any games on PC so the emphasis sould NOT be on PC.

I think (as a PS3 only gamer) that it is a good thing to concentrate on one platform to get the best out of it.

PC, hell no. they can't make a game that works on a console. i don't want to waste any space on my drives with Kaz holes life and death bs.

Agreed. I will sig your statement. ;)

As for most JDM PC game companies, I think they are just minor players.

If you all have some much trouble with GT5, why you're still spending so much time on this forum ?

I think Sony should terminate their relationship with Polyphony Digital and get a new developer that can actually deliver on their promises. Almost six years and umpteen million dollars - a lot of other developers could have given us a game that would have absolutely astounded everyone.

Let PD try to find another publisher to give them gigantic amounts of money and time to turn out some slightly larger but completely unimproved version of GT5.

:yuck:

PD is first-party division of Sony and terminating their relations would be silly. :grumpy:

Also, if they had to find a new publisher, that would bring GT series into disrepute, IMO.

I'd just like someone who has a lot of common sense, who's not a perfectionist & who's actually in touch with what gamers need/want to take over PD & run it properly & produce a better game.

:sly:

A: Stay as they are.

Better off staying as they are, I know some people who have an X-box and say such things but wont buy a PS3 because its a PS3 ! If you like the game then play it on a Platform it was designed for. It's up to the PC & X-box Developer's to make a car game that would Rival PD in all of the different dynamics that a PC would bring that Has not been done on a Console (YET) so far. There are some games on X-box that I like and PC but I will not be buying an X-box and will not be buying the PC game that I like.

End Of Line...
👍👍
