Lemme help you out a bit again.

The top one is bolt action, holds 5 rounds, weights 8.5 lbs, has a 1000yd effective firing range (5500yd max range), was used from 1903 to 1974 and over 1,300,000 were built.

The bottom one is semi automatic, holds 8 rounds, weighs ~10lbs, has a 500yd effective range, used from 1936 to 1957, and about 6.25 million were made.

It really depends on your situation.

If there was a single necked SG that would be my chioce, but I love the Strat. The Les Paul is too heavy, beautiful and stupidly expensive here (900€). I prefer the Xplorer to the Flying V actually, I hate them. Don't know much about Rickenbackers though. There is missing the Telecaster which is competing with the SG for my favourite. If I had a SG it had to look like this
