Bespoke Bentley with a Spitfire engine vs Brutus! Bentley cause of the spitfire engine and it looks better.

Bentley. Yes the Brutus is insanely awesome with it's fire and burning oil spitting in your face, but the Bentley is beautiful, with a Merlin engine (it's not actually a spitfire engine since it doesn't have a supercharger... apparently) and the noise!!!

That would mean that it was the same engine from the Hawker Typhoon... [/JAMES MAY]

Bentley VS Brutus - The Bentley, because it looks way more impressive than the Brutus. I'd imagine that every car would scurry out of my way on a narrow road if I were in the Bentley. :dopey:

Alright, here's a good one.

BMW 2002

OR

BMW M3 (E30)

The 944 for sure, no question I love that car.

The Bentley please.

Very easy, BMW E30 its my one of my favorite BMWs

Bentley vs Brutus - The Brutus. Y'all are wimps going for the perfectly painted chromed beast. The Brutus is so cool it hurts - all flame spitting, scorched paint and explosions. The Bentley is beautiful, but the Brutus would put hairs on the hairs on your nads.

I like the sound Brutus makes, but that's about it. Having your face and eyes and mouth ruined by burning oil and gas probably gets old, after about 2-3 minutes. So Bentley because it actually works.

It wasn't the Typhoon. That had a Sabre engine. Which was more powerful but unreliable. The Meteor was the unsupercharged Merlin. It was used in tanks. Which is why they use them in cars. Something to do with gearboxes and gearing.

MR2 vs Fiero vs 944 - I do like the MR2. But height might be an issue. So the 944.

The Brutus vs Bentley - The Bentley you could live with. So Bentley. But it's a bit too refined and perfect for me really. If it was a battle of aero engined cars though. A car called the Napier Railton Special would be my no.1 choice.

2002 vs M3 -M3's are nice especially E30's. I would have it over a normal 2002. But a 2002 Turbo? Not so sure.

Firebird VS GTO - Firebird, Firebird, Firebird. No question. I love Firebirds, and I hate GTOs; Firebirds are badass, and they look fantastic, not to mention that depreciation means that you can pick one up for peanuts.
^ I rode shotgun on a F-body Z28 (not the SS/WS6). I honestly didn't like the F-body much because the way it acted overall, but its engine is juicy because I've driven the LS2 Vette Z51 (which is almost similar to the LS1). Sure I liked the WS6 more than the Camaro SS, but never over the GTO 6.0.

The GTO? No, no, just no. It's a big, bland coupe with bulbous proportions, and a plastic penalty box interior. It may be faster, but it doesn't have the charm of a Firebird.

^ I've driven the GTO 6.0, it was heaven of a brute. The Aussie-Goat had far better interior, seats, and better driving dynamics than any F-body's. Plus this car is Globally loved compared to the WS6.

i well go with gto :D
here is a quick one
1972 Camaro z28 (18-22k)

or 1972 Mustang mach 1 (17-27k)
^ I pick the 'Stang, because H.B. Halicki.

10chases_gone_0608_470.jpg

:)

Aston Martin DBS Volante:

Or Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 Roadster:
^ I like the Aston, but this time I'd pick the Murcie (make mine w/ 6M/T).

2012 BMW M3

VS

2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG
^ The M3, because 6-speed manual.

Alright, gonna go for a Would You Rather that nobody has done yet : a wagon versus a minivan! :dopey:

Honda Accord Wagon (1996)

OR

Honda Odyssey (First Generation)

^ We already have the RA3 Odyssey, and its the best compared to most newer minivans of today! But This time I choose the Accord, because 5-speed manual.

VW Beetle

OR

VW New Beetle
^ Obviously the Type 1, nostalgia, tuning potential, and charm wins it all! The New Beetle is just a plain Barbie's car.

But, if the newest Beetle is in question, I could change my mind...

Yummy.
^ I took a closer look on the New-New Beetle. I like too! :)

Then, built 13B. Again because I have dreams.
^ Honestly, I'd rather have a Subie-engined Bug, a car powered by a boxer deserves a boxer.

^ And it sounds like music should have been.

Something different:
AW11 MR-2

vs

Fiero 2M4

vs
944 (not sure if Turbo)
^ If the 944 is a Turbo, then so much yes! But if not, I'd take the manga car:

casews2.jpg

^ Thats Over Rev, a more mature alternative to Initial D. 👍

Now here is something very different:

Bespoke Bentley, with a Spitfire engine

OR

The Brutus
^ The Bentley Spitter, at least I could drive it every day not as a circus act.

BMW 2002

OR

BMW M3 (E30)
^ Simple, the E30. I can simply drive it everyday without worries. Somehow older cars like the 2002 feel fragile, I just can't explain it here but its just me.

Good point, but still, the I find the styling way too plain for a muscle car. And that just ruins it. :yuck: Plus, it never really seemed to have much resemblance with the original GTO, which kind of annoys me. If you're gonna revive a nameplate, especially a muscle car nameplate, at least make it a little bit like the predecessor. Mercury really screwed it up with the little front wheel drive 'Cougar'. :yuck:

Bentley - wish it had a supercharger though.
^ Um, with a 27-liter V12 Spitfire/Meteor aircraft engine!? You don't need a supercharger. ;)

^ As far as I can recall, the original GTO was pretty discreet as well:

feat04pontiac_gto.jpg

^ As the well as the Crown-Vic butt Marauder.

;)

^ Well, the last Cougar was primarily developed for Europe as the Ford Cougar. It just so happens it kinda rhymes so Ford US marketed the coupe as a Mercury. It wasn't an entirely a bad car (especially the XR model).

E30 M3 no doubt, unless the 2002 is the tii, then things get interesting
Keeping with the M3 theme
Brand spanking new E92 M3 (has free maintenance and warranty for 4 years)
mythumb.php

VERY low mile NA2 NSX (~5K) (probably won't even need the warranty as it's a honda)
acura07.jpg

I love the NSX, but it's gotta be the M3 for me, especially because I'm not that interested in NA2s. Now at the 30k price point of early NA1s nothing beats it

NSX. I've dreamed of those for a very long time. The only stipulation I'd have is that I'd want a targa, lack of stiffness or no. I've loved open-air driving ever since I had a Firebird and a Cutlass Supreme, both equipped with T-tops :D
