Taurus, I seem to have the most trust in terms of build quality with that car for some reason.

I'll have the Fusion.

I'd rather take the Fusion.. It looks the most European and is essentially the American Version of the Ford Mondeo!

They're both the same car, with miniscule differences here and there.

Technically we still have the old Mondeo, I don't know when they're bringing the new one over. Though from what I've heard, the Fusion isn't as good as the current Mondeo.

I'd still have the Fusion, the Avenger is hatefully bad and the Regal is just bland (it's the Insignia over here).

I'll have the Stratus since it's the only one with an available manual. Seriously, though, 4 speed autos only? Really?

Welcome to 1980s-2000s America! :sly:

And to all of those voting for the Taurus, I can say with experience that the Impala is MILES better than the Taurus. Lots of miles. More miles than the Taurus could ever cover. I have no experience with an Avenger, though.

For the latest comparison, I'd have the Fusion.

The current Fusion is sort of like a smaller Taurus, so kinda boring.

I always thought the current Taurus was pretty horrible. Insanely big and heavy without a lot of interior space, drives poorly, and very ugly.

The Police Interceptor (based on the Taurus) looks cool though! Although I also really liked the Crown Victoria! Shame they never brought the Crown Vic to England - as our Police Force of Vauxhall Astras and Skoda Octavias would be non-existent;P

The Crown Vic is cool, but it never would have worked over here. Fuel economy would be about 25 MPG, if that, and it's way too big for most English streets. I always thought American police departments ought to buy something more economical, say a V6 Accord. Much cheaper to run, and still plenty fast.

I do like the Vectra VXRs we have in the UK. Like the tight and clean styling of them!

EDIT: And I'd take the Prius... Only one that actually has an engine! Styling, I'd have the Volt (which is a Vauxhall in the UK) - and then the Nissan Leaf is just awful! :P

They're okay, a bit boring for my tastes, though. I do love the new Mazda6, best car in it's segment all things considered. Looks like it costs about £50k, too.

I'll have the Volt. We do get it over here, surprisingly, though most people opt for the Ampera.

Eh. A V6 Accord is a bit small for police duty, especially when you're talking about North America where there isn't really a reason to have a smaller car in that capacity.

Not to mention the benefits of body on frame construction when you're talking about a job that requires you to intentionally run into other cars. The better fuel economy in something like an Accord just isn't enough of a benefit to make up for what the Crown Vic does well.

Buick Regal

And... it would be a tie between the Prius and the Leaf, but I'll take the Leaf just because you can get in something different than silver or white (only colors available for the Prius here in Mexico)...
