PORSCHE - So if the GT3 RSR is GT2 spec, why don't they call it the GT2 RSR? Makes no sense.

Because the car was based of the Porsche GT3 even tho it is a GT2 Spec car. Probably , i'm not sure.

but the Porsche GT3 is more track-ready so Porsche has to make less changes to the car i assume , it's also faster.

Porsche doesn't name their cars based of the GT3 races , it's just their naming-scheme , they have the 911 , 911 GT2 and 911 GT3.
