would you rather have a:
used dodge viper srt10 convertible '03, valued at $65,000
or
new chevrolet corvette stingray convertible '14, valued at $56,000
^
I'd take the Viper. It's rawer, scarier, and louder. The Corvette is a senior community cruiser compared to the Viper, despite the price and slower.
1969/1970 dodge dart gt 383 v8
vs
2013 dodge dart gt i4
^ Despite the Dart GT is a very good 'non-car person' cruiser.
I'd take the 383, like the Viper above, it rawer and much more pleasureable to drive. Plus it's cooler too, not many modern cars can do that nowadays...
2014 porche 911 gt3
or
2013 mercedes-benz sl63 amg
^ As much as I like Porsche's in general,
I'd take the SL63. For me, even the 991 GT3 is boss, it's a huge dissapointment for me. Porsche diluted the GT3 to appeal the mass audience and for me it taints the GT3 name. My GT3 is the RS 4.0. So the
jackhammer it is.
Speaking of porsches...
carrera rs 2.7
or
993 carrera 2
^
I'd take both, the 2.7 is for car meets and the 993 is my daily driver. With the 993, you're cooler than anyone with a 996, 997, and 991.
The 993 is the ugliest generation of the 911 imo.
^ Really!? I think that the 996 is the ugliest/blandest and the 991 is the fattest/mini whale.
saturn sky redline
or
pontiac solstice gxp
^ I've driven the Sky RL and a Solstice base.
I'll pick the Sky hand down! The interior has a better quality look to it AND it's a true global car (Opel GT & Daewoo G2X).
And I'll convert the Sky into a Daewoo just to piss people off!
^ But of course, mine will be a manual!
out of curiousity, how does the us car differ from eu spec?
^ Very subtle. The G2X & GT share the Euro-spec rear bumper, tailights, & some front bumper details. Thats about it. The only things they totally differ are its front grille, steering wheel cover, and badging.
My2012 subcompact comparo:
1) honda jazz (fit)
2) toyota vios (yaris)
3) nissan versa
4) hyundai accent
5) ford fiesta
all with the 5 speed manual.
Sorry for no images, on phone now.
^ I'm sorry, I have difficulty answering your question here.
1. You're from Singapore, so your specs are quite different.
2. Versa doesn't exist in Singapore, you guys have the Micra & the Note.
3. It doesn't specify which model it is.
3. Your Jazz and our Fit are different.
4. The Yaris and Vios are different now, but if you mean the last gen model...
5 ...the model lineup over there is pretty much bland and lifeless.
^ Unless you clarify this,
I won't answer your question.
before i do this, you need to know that you may not choose both, you may not modify them in any ways, and you may not choose "neither."
2014 chevrolet corvette stingray
specs:
6.2l v8, 460hp, 465lbft, 7 speed manual, about $54,000. (includes performance exhausts, warranty)
or
2000 ferrari 360 modena[/url]
specs:
3.6l v8, 400hp, 275lbft, 6 speed manual transmission, $58,250. (includes tubi performance exhaust, recent service, no warranty)
^ Ok, I'll play your rules.

I'd get the C7 easy. I never liked the 360 (yeah, let the haters rain), even from the start this Ferrari is oozing with blandness. The CS helps a bit, but I'd even take the C5 ZO6 (405hp) over the 360 CS.
