I'd go for the Bearcat because it looks lower, making it grippier and less likely to tip over. That may just be the picture though...
I don't know anything about these cars, so I don't think my opinion is as valid as Slashfan's, for example. However, I also like the looks of the Bearcat; being boxy isn't always a bad thing.

They are both based off the Ford F-550.

I'd take a Bearcat because it's cheaper and less exposed.

Police Cars: '12 Dodge Charger vs. Chevrolet Caprice PPV vs. Ford Taurus
Top Gear USA answered this question for me last season with the older older Charger. I don't know how much faster the new Charger is but if it isn't faster than the Ford Sho then I'd rather have the Taurus.

Ford Edsel vs. AMC Pacer

Never really cared for the Pacer so I'd rather have the Edsel.

Oshkosh Sandcat TPV vs. Lenco Bearcat

Bearcat just because it has a cool name.

Here's one with the new 4-door police vehicles from the American Big Three.

2012 Dodge Charger

Chevy Caprice PPV

Ford Taurus

Personally, I'd choose the Charger over the other two. I've grown to love the new Charger quite a bit.
Charger. The Caprice doesn't look intimidating, and the Taurus has always looked hideous.

A
Ford edsel or and

AMC pacer.

Keeping with the police theme

Oshkosh Sandcat TPV $225-250k

Lenco Bearcat $125 -300k+

Bearcat because of Saints Row The Third, and I haven't seen one yet. Actually, I'll take both. The Sandcat looks like the Stag's "enforcer"

It's obvious which one I'd have. Partly because it's RWD with a V6 but it turns way more heads on the road and you always get people asking about them and saying 'I/My parents had one in the '80s'

I'll go with the Capri. Because RWD, V6 = more power and a classic. Make mine white with blue stripes and a V6 or V8 twin turbo. ;)

Bentley 8 Litre Sportsman Coupe vs. Duesenberg SJ - 8 for sure.

Chevrolet Suburban vs. Ford Expedition - Hmm, outdated large American SUVs. I'll take the slightly less outdated Expedition.

Ford Fiesta ST vs. Ford Capri 2.8i - Capri, easy.
