Boss 302, can beat on it during track days then drive back and have 2 rear seats to take the kids to school. Plus with the cash I save, there'll be plenty left for gas and tires.

Mclaren F1, it was just so Ahead of its time and so finely engineered. Plus the Enzo is cool but doesn't really speak to me.

The Pagani easily. It has a Twin Turbo V12 and gull wing doors. Gull wing doors are ALWAYS cool. Plus it looks better than the Agera, it's headlights ruin it.

I'll take the Boss. You can't really drive an M3 around here without some sort of finger and hand gestures thrown at you. Where as the Mustang will get respect and thumbs up. Plus it sounds way better. ;)

McLaren. All day long. Loved this thing since I was a kid. I do like the Enzo but to say a car that's 10 years older than it is faster is a bit of a let down.

I'll have the M5. I really liked that era of BMWs all the way till the early 2000s. Carlton a close second cos it kinda pioneered the segment.
 
Pagani vs. Agera R: Easily I'll have the Agera R. It's a 5L V8 TT capable of pushing over 1000 horses and it's a light car from the carbon fiber parts. It's the Swedish TVR Speed 12, a monster and a challenge for the track. ;)

Boss 302 S197 vs. M3 GTS E92: Tough choice here since I'm a Stang and Bimmer dude, but I feel that the M3 E92 should be compared....

But I'll go for the Boss and push the Coyote V8 with either a supercharger or turbo kit and stroke it to a 5.5L pushing 500-600hp on E85 including a better suspension setup perfect for the streets and track.. After I driven/raced it stock. ;)

Same here. I fear the beauty of such a car is lost on many people.

The new Mustangs can actually corner quite well, so forget that stereotypical disadvantage. But anyway, you buy a Mustang for the sheer power, the torque, the sound, the looks, the feel, the heritage, I could go on...
Maybe the BMW is a better track weapon, but I just can't imagine taking it over the Mustang. BMW's engines have very little torque and power, so forget the thrills that you usually get from a Mustang. I don't see why so many people are against Mustangs, even the modern ones.

I don't know why people are stuck in the 60s thinking muscle cars and trucks are only for straights or for torque. I have seen many muscle cars and trucks take down many cars on the track, even '73 Camaro Z/28 that have pro tuning with 400-600hp or more own Supras, RX-7s, Vipers, Vettes, 911s, M3s on a course.

It is just like the idiots saying all Imports (cars from Japan, Europe, S. Korea, Australia) are slow and crappy econoboxes and are rice or trash. But they don't understand there's hundreds of Civics and Golfs up to the Skylines, Supras, RX-7s, Falcons, Monaros, Genesis Coupes, 911s, M3s, C-Class AMGs and hundreds more that kick butt and own many V8 to V10 muscle cars and trucks on the track and straights. And they aren't crap, and the Mustang isn't crap either. Period!

And like a Civic, GT86/BRZ/FR-S, AE86, Evo, STi, S2000 and more (including M3s, E30- earlier E92s [not GTS]) the Mustang is well known and the aftermarket world has everything from suspension kits up to full racecar upgrades to improve the beast. Can't beat that. :sly:

And also being cheaper makes it a plus. 👍


Hennessy 458 vs. Aventador LP-400 Roadster: Tough choice, but I'll have the Lambo and I'll customize her myself. A Diablo Red Aventador pushing around 1000hp from a reconstructed V12 improving the internals and equipped with a TT setup. ;)👍

Enzo vs. McLaren F1: Easily the Legend of the Machines.... McLaren F1! :bowdown:

BMW M5 vs. Jaguar vs. Carlton vs. Audi: Ugh, this is tough.... Between the Lotus and BMW, I would chose both, but I'll go for the Carlton, the car is a beauty and a classic! :D

Now where can I get one and import to the States?

Ferrari vs Lambo: Aventador Roadster. I want to hear that glorious V12.

Boss vs M3: GTS is much more of a surperior track toy. M3 it is.

Old super sedans.; I'll take the Carlton. It's the most menacing and it was the fastest sedan in the world during it's time.

F1 vs Enzo: F1 is great but living with it will be a struggle. Clambering out of the central driving position would be extremely undignified and would make you look like a spanner in front of the crowd you pulled. For this reason, I'll have the Enzo because it'll be that much easier to live with.

The current mustang can take corners though, the 5.0 GT can match a normal M3 around a race track and the 2012 Boss 302 LS not only beat the e92 M3, but the Audi R8 as well around Laguna Seca. I'm sorry, I had to say it.

Well that's a surprise I didn't know that, but what about the BMW in the comparison? I'm sure it would be faster. But is the interior made out of cheap plastics?



The F1, it's speaks more about who you are and that you know what your talking about when it comes to cars.



I don't know much about the sedans but I would have the M5 just for its reputation.

That "living with it" part is contradictory, because from what Ive read the F1 is more drivable, has better visibility, more refinement and more passenger/luggage space than the Ferrari. It also has a shorter nose and clears speed bumps better if Im not mistaken. And besides, it shouldn't have to be undignified if one is reasonably fit. :)

It's tough to say as they both have around the same amount of hp, I bet they would match each other on the track again.

This is still my favorite Supercar its does everything right and IMHO still the king of the hill

BOSS 302 Mustang over BMW any day.

1993 Lotus Carlton I wonder if there is even one in the US?
 
BMW M3 GTS vs. Ford Mustang Boss 302 - I'd take the GTS, but the 302 is much more versatile.

Audi R8 V10 Plus vs. Porsche 911 Turbo S - Porsche, better looking.
