It's pretty hard to decide because we haven't had a chance to judge their differences in lap times or overall performance. I can only infer that the revised R18 will probably be very effective against the competition, judging from the domination of its previous forms. It also looks the most stunning in that comparison. The lines of the TS040 are somehow reminiscent of the GT-One, which is, in fact, my favorite 90s LMP. But in that picture, the TS040 also looks kinda...squat. The 919 isn't as stunning as the R18 in terms of looks, but I'm much more of a Porsche fan and supporter compared to the other two manufacturers. I'm really looking forward for Porsche to bring up better competition in the top class and reenact their success. Its V4 engine seems very interesting too. We haven't seen a V4 engine put into use in a car for years! V4 may sound rather underwhelming initially, but in the realm of endurance racing, I do get excited in witnessing manufacturers' exercises in deploying and making use of unusual technologies or solutions for performance efficiency. So, I think I'll choose the Porsche 919 in the end.

All ABS does is prevent the tires from locking up under hard braking. A good driver can do that with non ABS brakes in emergency situations. TCS is just pointless in my opinion, for similar reasons. Manual throttle control.
A lot of this is why I like older cars as well that aren't equipped. More manual control (always a plus), less that can go wrong, less maintenance and less money I have to put into them.

Just curious, but how much experience do you have with emergency driving situations and 0 abs?
Likewise, how much time have you spent behind the wheel of a car capable of accidental power oversteer in dry weather?
What you've said about ABS and TCS sounds cool but really isn't cool anywhere other than a track. There's a reason powerful cars are equipped with TCS and if you think ABS isn't helpful then there's probably no helping you or changing your mind. ABS saves lives, tires, and stopping distances, ABS is indeed very cool.
Btw, I've spent lots of time behind the wheel of both types of cars (abs v. non abs and tcs v. no tcs).
Oh, and just so you know, saying aids are for sissies makes you look like a kid that has no real driving experience, just so you know.
