Lard-ass Camaro - Nope, would rather buy a C7.

CL63 AMG - A big classy coupe, with a monster of an engine.

Kazunori-mobile - Yes.

2nd-hand Ferrari - No.

I'll have the GT-R.

Plus one more reason about the Camaro that I forgot: It does not work in Europe!

Won't work as in doesn't run, or unable to be purchased there? Cause it works in Germany.

Same, but the ZO6 isn't out yet, and the C7 was to cheap to hang in with the big guns.[/QUOTE]

most likely unable to purchase in his country and they don't work on narrow European roads think UK roads etc. but to be honest it was never the point of a muscle car to be a practical car that works on narrow European roads.

Ahh, okay. Yeah, it was made for tracks, which tend to be much wider than winding mountain roads (which the guy in the 0revious video handled really well).

Mainly because a litre of petrol (and premium because of the car) costs almost 2€, which means a full tank is a 120€! I can purchase them here but only this year because Chevy is stepping out of the european market.

Tight roads filled with pot holes bigger than a metorite crater. And it probably won't fit in my street!

I read this interesting bit about the Camaro and mind you that the Porsche GT3 is 30bhp down and 300kg down, which means 332.16 bhp/ton and the Camaro is 291.4 bhp/ton, but on "sports soft" tires and the GT3 in regular tires the GT3 is 12 seconds faster than the Camaro around the 'Ring.

We're up to just a hair under 4 bucks now.

And yeah, it also costs roughly 40 grand more.

Yeah, the gas station down the road is 3.89. Go to Atlanta, it's 4.06, Marietta is 3.92.

And a gallon is about 3.78L and a dollar is 0.75€. So rough maths: Suposing that the fuel tank is 60L, this means, it's a 15.9 gallon tank and to fill it costs (down the road) 61.85 bucks which means in euros it's about 46.39€.

Conclusion to fill a Camaro tank there is 46.39€ and here is 120€. Which means a litre of petrol there is about 0,77€.

And considering a minimum monthly wage here is 450€ (600$) and we consider a well paid job from 1500€/monthly (2000$) upwards and consider our taxes are an all time high the Camaro would cost about 150,000€ (200,000$) and insurance/other taxes about 1200-1500€/annualy (~2000$) and 4 tires which can endure about 2-3 months tops (4000€ for 4 (5333$)) and being super thirsty due to it's engine size, with a tyre change and refuel in one month this car will cost to run about 4220€ (5626,67$). And then is the maintenece which I don't have a clue of it's cost. Which in the end will be much more expensive than running a Porsche GT3 that base, here, costs 180,000€ (240,000$), whose ownership is more favourable.

Sorry if went way too much off-topic, I just wanted to show that big (and cheap) engines and Europe don't mix

I wouldn't call this off-topic, we're debating a comparison.

Here though, I'll bet the Porsche would be more expensive, soley because maintenance on exotics has a huge markup, because the parts have to be ordered. Engine maitenance would be cheap on a Z/28, insurance, although expensive, would likely be much less than a GT3. It does roast tires and drink gas though, so...

But let's be honest, when you have the money to own either, prices for insurance/parts/gas/tires aren't going to bother you anymore .

Although, I figured a Porsche would be much more suited for Europe, what with being a compact RR, light sports car. Line them up for the 1/4 mile however... Plus it has the nice handling. I suppose you could say they're polar opposites. The Porsche is small, compact, lightweight... And the Camaro is huge, grippy, powerful, and mean.

We should probably get back to the "Would you Rather" things though. Even though I wouldn't consider it off-topic, I'm sure everyone would like to get back to the game :).

Okay...

I'd say it's really more of a factory drag racer, what with AWD, but it's also really good on a track, so Okay.

Um... No. That's a Civic Si. The new Z/28 is way too good for "Hooning." it's a fun street car, but made for a track, developed in the green hell, I might add. If you want it that way, all cars that can go over 100 miles an hour are for street racing.

Meh. Ferrari gets a bad rap because certain men think they're "Get laid" cars, but luxury and performance were it's goal.

But anyway, I almost chose the Mercedes, just because of the name, but 'Murica, on my mind.

(Oh, and not trying to come off as hostile by the way)

No worries, i was just sharing my perspective, and so did you, its good mate.

I am not right, and you are not wrong so ;)

Well, I was waiting for someone else to post, but I'll just go ahead and post it. Country vs Country!

Representing America, we have the new Chevrolet Camaro Z/28
2015-chevrolet-camaro-z28-5_653.jpg

With an MSRP just under 75,000 USD, this car is the cheapest on the list, but don't let that dissuade you. The engine is a 7.0 V8 with 505 horsepower, 481 ft-lbs of torque, and a six-speed manual transmission.

Still not sold? Well, this Camaro also features 14 inch Carbon-Ceramic Brake discs that'll stop it almost as fast as the engine can make it go.

Now, from Germany, we have a car with stunning looks and amazing performance, the 2014 CL63 AMG.
2014_Mercedes-Benz_CL63_AMG_Coupe_1073080.jpg

This car has a 5.5 Biturbo V8 rated at 536 horsepower and 590 ft-lbs of torque. That gets to the wheels via a 7 speed automated manual transmission. And at a starting price of 154,600 USD, that's quite a deal.

Unfortunately, I can't find any information on the brakes for this, or any other of the contestants. If anyone can find out the data for them, that'd be great.

For Japan, we have none other than Godzilla himself: the 2015 GT-R.
01.jpg

This car has a 3.8 liter Twin Turbocharged engine featuring an astounding 545 horsepower, as well as a six-speed, dual clutch, sequential transmission. It also features all-wheel drive. This car is bested on the drag strip by only a handfull of other supercars, all of them costing much more than the starting price of 101,770 for this GTR.

Now, for Italy, I was going to do the new California, but it's double the cost of the above GTR, so instead, we have a 2005 Ferrari F430 Berlinetta.

All the information about this car is in this link:
http://www.auto.com/cars/Ferrari-F430-Berlinetta-2005-ZFFEW58A850141776#info

The engine makes 490 horsepower, and the transmission is what I'm assuming to be a six-speed manual.
Z/28. It's absolutely stunning.

Results:
1. Chevrolet Camaro Z/28
2. Nissan GT-R
3. Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG
4. Ferrari F430 Berlinetta

Exactly, everything in this thread is an opinion. :)

But, since my other comparison has run dry, I'm going to do another one.

Between the new Stang (Great car) and the M4 (awesome car) i would pick none, i am kinda sick at this point from constantly hearing about them for the past 6months... so instead, i am going to pick the... ... well i cant decide either, how about you helping me:

Which one?
