after looking out the right side of the plane wouldn't you get a chill?

We have that picture at work, with our companies name on the side of the plane. Meaning, half the company is crashing. Its a good pick me up.

I Fly when I HAVE to. My theory is simple
Planes are made of metal. The Earth is a giant galactic magnet. DO THE MATH.

I'd venture a guess and say this picture's doctored, aside the obvious AYBABTU...

I've never flown, so i don't know if i'd be afraid or not.

iron, colbalt (sp), and nickle are the only things that respond to farro magnetism. planes are made of aluminum so therefore will not attract to the earth. anyway earth's magnetic feild is no strong enough to pull down a plane IF it were made of metal;) :p

Dude, aluminum is a metal.

I wouldn't be scared unless the pilot spoke like the video game intro.

"Evening greetings, us passengers of the flying vehicle...us shall descent at port of aircraft in a time nearing 10 post meridian..."

And so on.

That may be so. But until the "Law of Gravity" is repealed. I only fly, when I have no other choice.
I used to love to fly. Then I had an awful experience. It was worse than crossing the Atlantic during storm season, on a 440 ft cork, that was a Frigate in calm waters.
Add to that, metal is dug from the earth as ore. Just because it has been refined, and shaped, doesn't mean that it doesn't have some sort of "homing mechanism" programmed into the fiber of the metal.
The number of plane crashes and helicopter crashes (in particular the Navy SH-60) lead me to this conclusion.
I also know that Airplanes are supposedly "safer" than cars. However, if the plane has some sort of breakdown/"mechanical", at 40,000 ft. walking to the nearest house to use the phone isn't an option.

Well by looking at the other plane, it has the same paintjob so id be saying ok wtf is wrong with it! cause its the same model and everything. I think it is shopped cause if an accident happened to that airline then most likley the fleet would be grounded. Till the problem is fixed :)

I Love flying its the most peacefuly time for me just waking up to seeing the clouds underneath you its truly breathtaking.

The pic is real except for the AYBABTU part. It's a test facility though. Speaking of being scared of flying, how funny is this. A friend of mine, on his first flight, was showed Final Destination as the in-flight movie. Nice thinking AA.

I don't think it was supposed to happen, but it's not like 200+ people died in it either. I read about this on some site a while back.

Whoa! Now say that in binary!
