No problem. :) I can't wait to see some 1024x768 pictures!

I liked the Cala better, twin-turbo V-10 motortrend a few years back late in year 1999.

Gah!

Well it's cool, and it's ugly at the same time.. looks like a hotwheels fantasy car or something.. :reallyodd
The Diablo looked just fine.. and unless the release of this new ride is gonna drop the price on the diablo (by a LOT), then I don't like it.. hehe

i like it, but at the same time i dont. it's too concept-ish for my taste. it's almost excessive, and those pop-out wings? what the hell? it's as if they wanted to be bold and daring with the design but it just came out rash and overdone. it's a pretty nice looking car, but not what i expected from lambo.

another thing is that this car is probably gonna cost a HELL of a lot of money. if i had that much cash lying around, i'd be pimpin it up in a ferrari, not a lambo. just my 2cents

funny story:

My friends sister told her that one of her(the sister) friends owned one of the new Murcielago's, LOWERED it, and added an underbody accent kit (flourescent lights). Oh, and the friend is 14 w/o a licence....

Anywhooo,

The Murcielago is a great car, I just hope they do some tweeking to the long used diablo powerplant.

The only mod I would do if I got one, is to add a twin turbo set up 😈

meh, lamborghini stopped being awesome after they ditched the diablo

BAH TO MURCIELAGO, GALLARDO AND ANY OTHER LAMBORGHINI COMING AFTER 2001! :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: (i seriously dont like the new lamborghinis that much if you cant tell)

it's not the fact that they are old being the relevant issue to why im posting

i just dont want to start a new thread when i can just search for one and post how i feel

even if it's my angst feelings toward the new lamborghinis

Yeah guys lay off. You complain because there are people who make new threads when there is an old thread already made. Then you compalin when the ressurect an old thread. Make up your minds!

secondary note: it's interesting to see GTP history go all the way back too when you can post in a thread already made for a topic thats older than your dog

but back to topic: i cant stand the new lamborghinis...they are just too ugly and just seem unreliable, plus they just dont feel like they are carrying the old lamborghini tradition...like it's no longer a lamborghini...but a 'pseudo-ferrari'

All other facts are debatable, but the new Lambos are much more relaible due to Audi quality control.

do you at least feel like the lamborghinis of today are a heck of a lot different than the ones of 2001 and previous? by the way, i just noticed your dilating eye...freaky...

Considerably different. They've been under different ownership several times. First they were with Chrysler in 1987 before Lambo was about to go bankrupt. Then, they were sold to some other company. Then they were bought out by Audi...

Yes, they lost a lot of character, but now they are a car that you can actually enjoy driving. They had a Diablo on Top Gear and JC said something to the effect of: "it looks a lot better on your wall as a poster." This is still true of them IMO, but a lot less, which makes the company a lot more financially stable.

Hehe. :sly:
