Looks like it was based off of a 120,000 pound Peugeot(I think it was a Peugeot...) some smacktard made in Britain. It was on Top Gear. But, the only difference I can see (aside from being different cars) is that the Peugeot had front exhaust pipes. Yes, front exhaust pipes; possibly the worst modification ever imo.

Spending 120,000 quid on a Peugeot is......well......too stupid for words.

The airbrushing on that car is simply amazing, it might not be the prettiest car in the world but the amount of work makes me happy.

I was gonna say, the paint work on these cars is the only amazing part.

Before the Civic, Alpine had an RSX, which I have seen twice, I think. Pretty impressive...

Not just the paint, all that sculpted fiberglass (I guess?) is pretty impressive too.
Not that it's probably ever been driven more then 30m at a time, but those have to be the least ergonomic gauges I've ever seen.

Alpine has also used an X5 BMW, as well as a new Mini. Always blue, always extremely custom. Always over the top configurations that have zero purpose and zero functionality in today's modern society. For show only!

Yeah, that car is EXTREMELY bad. It's a work of art.

Not in all circumstances...

Oh, and if they were to sell that Le Mans car.

120k would be an uberbargain.

Show Car = Over the top, meant to display the extreme capabilties of all the sponsors and builders. Get it? People see (and hear) that car, and think to themselves, "Hey, thats a nice [insert showcased product here], if I want to get some of that for my car, Im calling one of these guys." A rolling advertisement, if you will. Show cars always have been and always will be over the top, its nothing new.

On another note, its nice to see the move the gauges off to the side so you can focus on what's really important, the wall of LCD screens in front of you! And the airbrushing is just gorgeous, its a refreshing change from the gay cookie cutter vinyls that have become so popular as of late, and that is some good airbrushing too! A true work of art.
