Week 11 results: Honda S2000 LM at Cote d' Azur​

Congrats to hOt6o4bOi for taking the overall win this week, just edging out his arch enemy holl01 by a mere .007! icemanshooter23 has ice in his veins this week and rounds out the Div.1 podium with a very strong run as well. Toffe takes first over Androoos in Div.2, with Puck927 right behind them. Nice work fellas. In Div.3 news, mkay hits the pavement and lays down a great lap for the Div.3 win. Strong runs by circa86 and DRIVEN -USA- earn each of them a podium spot as well.

Promotions this week go to DLRgain, who was temporarily dropped to Div.3 last week by request, but whose time is still competitive in Div.2 so that's where he will stay from now on to be fair to the Div.3 drivers. New drivers on the move starting next week are MR8 and Puck 927, who have put up times that would be competitive in D1 more than once, so they both will be joining the ranks of Div.1. Get ready for some great battles you two.:)

Teams will not be announced until tomorrow around this time, as I have to review the results here, and finalize the point scheme and so on. I will get the Week 12-13 thread started asap, hopefully within the hour. Thanks to all the drivers who turned out this week and gave it their best effort. You guys make the WRS the place to be in the world of GT.👍

Yeah, great racing everyone. Although the track was not my favorite I still reckon it has been the best combo since I joined.

TimBrad, you're getting closer to the field each week. Not long now till you become a threat to the midfielders in Div 3 :nervous: - Keep up the good work

Great racing this week! Congrats to those who made a podium finish and to those who got in a lap to submit. Thanks for a fun combo, CFM. Way to go Puck, MR8.. well deserved promotions. Look forward to racing you guys again. :)

Yes, I fixed it. That's why I'd appreciate it if everyone included their divisions with their times. I'd prefer not to have to search through a list of 260 drivers every time someone forgets.:crazy:

YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! :D My first win!!!!!!!!! 👍 Man, this made my day! :) And the first time I actually get any use of my action replay max evo! I was sort of lucky. From 1 pm to 2 pm cet I did some laps. My best time then was 1'28.5xx. After a while when I begin to think that I will not be able to beat my time, I give the Honda an oil change and wash it. Then I go back to the track and begin to drive without loading my ghost time. After 2 laps I set the time i submitted! I was shocked! :eek: I couldn't belive the time I saw on the screen. And the lap didn't felt perfect! I could have had a much better exit in the 2nd last corner (the one just ahed the pits). But at the same time this is very wierd. Some weeks ago I was second last in DV 2! I go up and down the result-list all the time. It wouldn't surprise me if I'm going to be last next week! :boggled: :confused: Anyway congratulations to all the toprunners in each division 👍
 
Dang... This was a close week. I didn't think I would finish so far down D3. I expected it, didn't think it'd be though. Almost top 20 :sly:

In case anybody is interested, the average lap time of the 74 competing drivers is:

Just to emphasize that I was not kidding about my comments regarding settings...

True, my lap was not the fastest but compared to last week... :trouble:

My own settings...

8.0/8.0 springs
85/85 ride height
9/9/9/9 bound/rebound
1.3/1.5 camber
0/0 toe
6/6 stabilizers
3/3 brake balance
10/20/5 LSD
0 ASM
1 TCS
Max Downforce

Tranny was custom so I'm not bothering with an explaination for that one.

However, take note of the settings, then take a look at the replay... Specifically, check out the "Middle U turn" after T1 and the final section.

The speed in both of those sections is way faster than the rest of the lap.

BTW, based on the majority of the laps I ran with this set up...
I am definately one of the fastest drifters on the GTP. :sly:
