Should we do a classic 1960's style standing Le Mans start?

I reckon we are going to have a hell of a season. Any faster GT cars are worse on tyres or fuel, or both. Prototype has some very good drivers, Ferrari not shown their hand yet...

I'd imagine it was a 43.7 (Furi thought it was), as 1:40 sounds like RH territory. :odd:

And that would be .5 faster than a few days ago. 👍
 
was a 1:43.7 as my fastest was a 1:46.5 i think, probably won't be at daytona so i'm not bothered
 
I'll get it down in the low 42's or high 43's I had more to come.

I picked the Ferrari based on previous experience driving it (actually it is a fun car to drive), before testing both cars with these tires...

Unfortunately the Ferrari is too much of a handful being so light in comparison to the Ford, and with its powerband I just can't exit a corner cleanly and be fast at the same time.

Yup, i'm looking to get roughly 13-14 laps from a full tank at Le Mans.

:ouch: Fox was looking at around 15-18 I think. Prototypes will last around 14 laps.

20/21?! So that's two pit stops to the Mustangs three. Might actually be less, depends on the Prototypes pace. With full fuel pit stop's, they will be around 66 seconds in length.
 
The Mustangs are 5 seconds a lap faster, so in 12 laps they have a pit stop in hand.

Still think they have the upper hand in raw pace.

I'll just have to try and prevent that from happening as much... I might be able to get it down to 74% of the time with some practice ;)
