Welcome to the World Street Car Challenge Round 3
Round Specifics:
Round 3 will be held at Toyko R236 for a frantic 5 laps.
Arcade Mode -> Single Race -> Hard -> Toyko R236
Times are due on Sunday, September 7th, on or before 11:59.59pm PST.
Series Rules
This 7 Race series will consist of minor to moderately modified street cars, which are modded to an even stature, battling it out with a small handicap system after every race. Referring to the finishing position of the last race, the racer will either recieve reward to use better tires, or may be taken away that right. In "No tire wear" races, the T1 tire is more slippery than the T8 tire. This is similar in concept to the Japan Touring Car Championship and SCCA Speed World Challenge balancing system. All cars have been tested before hand by me, and have been given mods to be very close to the same speeds on an average track. The idea is to make it fun for everyone and not have a Michael Schumacher of sorts, and it should make a tight points race at the end. It also makes it possible to use your favorite street car, and it's still possible to win even though it's not the fastest of all the cars in the game.
CARS
-Once you pick a car, you must keep that car for the remainder of the series. To pick a car, email me at lightningd001@yahoo.com , and I'll mail you back letting you know if it's ok, and what mods you can do to your car.
-Oil: IF you car is allowed an oil change, you can only do so when you purchase the car. You cannot change oil during the series.
-Practice is unlimited. It is your choice whether you use the actual race car, or purchase another car to practice with. However, if you practice with the actual race car, the mileage does affect your horsepower.
-The Actual race can be done as many times as you wish. However, the more you do it, the more mileage that is put on your car, and could hurt you in the long run. If you have a bad race, and want to reset the PS2, that's is OK also. When the race is over, and you are ready to submit times, the game must be saved and the race car must keep it's mileage, whatever it might be. You cannot race an entire series, with the odometer at 0 miles at the start of every race.

RULES
The normal stuff:
-2 wheels on the track at all times. Rumble strips count as the track. No bumping the AI cars or walls to where it makes it an advantage.
-Ghost racers, or racers who do not start from round one, will start with T4 tires. Series points will be awarded. If a racer skips a race, and then joins in again on a later round, he will start with T4 tires.
POINTS
1st - 24
2nd - 19
3rd - 15
4th - 11
5th - 8
6th - 5
7th - 3
8th - 2
9th - 1
10th - 1
and 1 for every position after 10th.
-Racer with the fastest lap of the race will recieve 4 bonus points.
SETTINGS
Other than the following, nothing shall be changed on the car.
All cars will have a Full Racing Supsension and Full Racing Transmission.
Any Suspension Settings may be changed
Transmission "Autoset" Settings may only be used.
Everyone will start out with T5 rated tires. If you want to join in in the middle of the series, it's ok. You will start out w/ T4 tires.
ASM = 0
TCS = 0
Any Racing Wheel from the GT Auto shop may be used.
Tire handicap after each race.
1st - minus 4
2nd - minus 3
3rd - minus 2
4th - minus 1
5th - stays same
6th - plus 1
7th - plus 2
8th - plus 3
9th - plus 4
10th - plus 4
The tires used will be T1 through T8. T0 will NOT be used. Here are some examples of how this will be used.
You are running T5. You finish second. 5 minus 3 = 2. You will run T2 for the next race.
You are running T3. You finish first. 3 minus 4 = -1. There is no such thing, thus you run the lowest, T1.
