Any particular reason the pre-season races are on Mondays while the season races are on Tuesdays? I'll try to make it tonight...but I haven't put much seat time in. I have no idea how to tune the car (power vs downforce) so it will be...an experience.

there was a mistake of dates, the races will be taking place on tuesday nights. i already asked that question

just thought it would be nice to post some practice times so our new drivers have a number to go after
1:08:xxx on med tires
1:07:xxx on soft tires
happy hunting boys i know these are (slow) times for our pro field so i hope to see some quicker times posted soon

Lucky,

Have you made the 1:06 yet? Just wonderin', as I've only been able to make the high 1:07 twice on RS...

I was practicin' with Rotor last evening, (Suzuka, GP/F, and Tokyo), and if that's any indication, he'll probably be runnin' 1:05's, if not faster...

1:05:xxx @ DFR i don't think thats even possible here well not in a GT-R anyways i know them lexus's are fast but i have never drove one of them so i don't know if that time is possible i sure hope not because 1:07's are very fast

Pope I'll join ya tomorrow in the epson

Drex81

Glad you can join us Drex! Maybe you can help me get another 2 seconds out of this car, lol.

Everyone whose racing in our first pre-season, be sure to add me on PSN before 11. My PSN is P_O_P_E. I'll be practicing in my lounge for a few hours before the race, feel free to join me.

So just before qualifying tonight we're going to do a practice start and 2 laps. I want everyone prepared for the first corner and the concrete sections off the start. I expect there to be incidents on lap 1. Getting through the first lap in one piece is more important than grabbing first. It's a long race, so pace yourself. If you wreck early on, stick with it. You might be down a lap for awhile but anything could happen over an hour.

Count me in...

I used to race a lot in super GT before joining the 450pp club. Can't wait for this!

Your welcome to join but the only car left is the raybring NSX. Calum McHale took the last Lexus.

GTR, I'm getting a bit confused with time zones and summer time.
How long till the start of the race? It's just I'm going to catch some Zzz'z just now if its worth it...

Is anyone having issues getting in or staying in a lobby? For some reason I get booted from my lobby after about 2mins each time. Reset my router, stoped the wife from streaming a movie and it still boots me. Seems like a PSN issue, everything is good on my end.

Hey guys sign me up thnks and also what cars are avaialable?

Edit: Is there a Raybrig NSX still available?

I tried for 3 hours and only managed two or three laps before getting disconnected from the server. Never signed me out of PSN though. Weird. Big thanks to Sassafrass for stepping up and running the event.

So how did it go?

It looked like it went pretty good. I got booted on lap 16 so I watched the rest. McHale won. We had a few disconnects and a few people left so only 6 finished. Sucks your internet wouldn't cooperate.

Well there's a bigger issue there. My Internet wasn't a factor once someone else was hosting, and since a few of you were kicked it must be a GT5/PSN problem.

Sorry I couldn't make it. Had to pick the wife up at the airport. I'll be there for the next practice.

So from what I hear the NSX's didn't fair well last night. Did any finish? Was it a problem of pace or control? I find it hard on tight tracks, and you really need to hold back to keep it in line. But on the faster tracks the extra hp makes a big difference. Anyone wishing to drop out, please let me know. If you want to schedule some practice, let me know that too!

Laguna seca is next up. The corkscrew and the turn after will no doubt claim some victims. At least it's close to the pits! Any times yet? Lucky?

not yet i will post times tomorrow afternoon, and i heard a lot of the NSX is not fast enough, well i will run it and post times for the nsx and times for the gt-r but with the right set up the nsx is the fastest car in series it is a lil harder to drive but the top speed of the nsx is unmatchable

That's what sold me on it lucky. But it didn't help me with my deep forest practice, not a fast track.
