I posted some pic's on my GT profile of our Special Stage if anyone is interested. Some cool shots of backfire from my GT-R and of Death catching some serious air.

Looking forward to Deep Forest, my favorite original course. Hopefully i can be competitive and keep all four tires on the track.

The last corner always bites me when I push it. For anyone wondering, the concrete on the left of turn four will be considered part of the track.

Looks like the average for Deep Forest is somewhere in the 1:09, 1:10 range on softs.

This is not one of my best tracks...and the NSX doesn't like that right turn before the first tunnel. I know I can get down to 1:10, but i doubt i will run faster during the race.

Ohh come on now. Lol. None of cars like that right hander before the tunnel. Rear end loves to snap around. Im not sure who it was but someone turned a 1:07.xxx in the pre-season race.

I dunno, i ran some laps in the GTR and it was a lot more stable on that turn.

I've seen people run 1:07...i really don't know where i'm losing the time though. This just isn't my track. When I push hard I end up slower.

Whose going to make it tonight? I think we started with 10 last week, lets hope we get that many. Deep forest is quite fast for such a short track, should be lots of passing. Could this be the first win for a GTR?

Well, a transformer exploded on a telephone pole cutting power to the whole neighborhood. We went and checked it out and there are wires everywhere. Wont be making it tonight.

Got power back but internet is not running very good. Sorry guys. Im super disappointed. Im at Denny's now eating my frustrations away. Lol.

Horrible race for me, as expected. I waited to lap 5 to pit thinking i might fair better putting fewer laps on my soft tires. That put me 12 sec behind nic at lap 18 when he pitted. I stayed out until lap 21 and that put me 18 seconds behind. I made back all but 10 seconds when Nic got booted from the server around lap 29. Ithen on lap 32 i got loose on the final turn and spun around. I decided to go right into the pits...but it gave me a drive thru with no pit stop. I came out behind fox and drex. I chased until lap 35 then went for my final stop. I was pretty far back and made up all but 7 seconds when i got stuck. I couldnt make back any more time. I hit a wall pushing too hard and drove the rest of the race with damage.

Had my best start in the series. Thanks everyone for going clean into the first turn. Had a 25 second lead before my first pit. I noticed Nickel catching up a little each lap. I don't think he pitted. His tire wear was probably better. I wasn't consistent enough. I spun in the grass and hit the wall. The car was pulling to one side so I clipped the wall (in the tunnel) on the other side so I wouldn't have to pit. I ran like that till my pit window was up, loosing a few seconds a lap. I hated seeing everyone drop out. The good thing is I can have full rain tires for the next race. I'm gonna need a masseuse after Sazuka(weather).

Had a chance to do about 50 laps at Sazuka (weather). I'm not getting any traction. The rear tires spin through the first four gears even with feathering the throttle. Just maintaining a constant speed though the long turns the rear steps out constantly. It only gets controllable when I set traction control to 1. I know a wheel gives you allot more control but I'm stuck on analog for now. If I can't make it work, I may not race. Its not fun if I can't compete.

Given the ability level of most of the drivers in this series, id be ok with running it dry...or at least turning damage off/low for this one.

If we do run in the rain, is it going to be set to rain at the beginning of the race? If so, do the top 3 from last race need to start on RH tires? Or can they use rain tires?

I still think its a bad idea to run this in the rain. The rain was my idea in the first place. I thought it would add some spice to the championship. I didn't do enough testing before I suggested it. Im in favor of running in dry conditions. This track is too long and whoever is in last will probably leave. Too frustrating.

not a good showing only four finished the race.

If you guys want to switch it to dry that's fine. Might only have one or two finish in the rain anyway. So no weather, tire rules are same as always.

Working late, doesn't look like I'm going to make it. Sorry I haven't updated the standings, but I'll get it up to date tomorrow so everyone knows where they stand going into the finale.

I'm not going to make it either. Race is very late for me and I'm exhausted from some home improvement projects that should have been finished this weekend.
