Add me (ken4block3). I would like to chat with you on psn because I don't like messaging in this. Me and my friend would sign up. Same team. And I will be gone all summer though because I go to Portugal. Plz add Im clean no moves. And pretty good like senna but senna was also dirty sometimes like first seconds of race where he took himself and Ferrari (I think) out. Say from so that I know.

I don't have a ps3 mic...

and car?

And yeah, Senna took out prost to win the championship, doing this kinda stuff here will earn you a infraction 👎

Thanks as well :) The 320i Touring Car is a fabulous bit of kit, but is hamstrung by IMO the unnecessary weight penalty :indiff:

I'm ok with the original 1170 KG race weight so + 30 KG penalty.

When i get the opportunity will test under a number of variables and post up results ;)

No? your supposed to be running 1190 KG NOT 1200 KG...

C30 = ST

It gets 2.02's so I don't see whats wrong with it...

Its just not any fun to drive it lumbers around corners like a dinosaur wouldnt say it was a consistant 2.02 car but who cares will see.

Original base (race) weight is 1140 kg + 30 kg = 1170 kg. Then it has been changed to 1190 kg.

Either way i will test running:

1190 kg Racing Hards
1190 kg Racing Mediums

WTCC Regulations are as follows:

ARTICLE 5 : MINIMUM WEIGHT

The minimum weight of the car, including the driver and his full
equipment, is :
- 1170 kg for a front-wheel drive car
- 1200 kg for a rear-wheel drive car
These minimum weights must be respected at all times during the
event, in particular when the car crosses the finish line.

We need to get as many of us together as we can for a full test session asap. Have a couple of races around Monza (the track we have been testing individualy on) and see how things go under race conditions this series is getting more and more frustrating but sure it can be made to work with the odd tweek.:banghead:

I'll be on testing from 8:30 - 11:30 pm Melb time +10 UMT/GMT/Zulu.

Will send FR out RS and try and hook up sometime if i can get the time difference right??? As i posted the time slot for this series will be difficult for me but can have a practice anyhow.👍

This series looks good.

I like the way the regs allow a variety of cars. So put me down as a driver, also if I can team up with evan1080. We know each other outside of PSN.

We are running Racing Mediums only.

6/7/11 ANNOUNCEMENT:
-OP has been updated, regarding minimum weights and maximum power levels for BMW 320i TC.
-We have 16 entries as of right now, anyone who joins now will be on the reserve list.
-BMW 320i TC has max power boosted from 270 HP to 275 HP.
-No installing turbos unless your car needs them to meet max power limit, no using turbo's if you can already reach it in N/A configuration.

johnboy1112 and i spent the better part of 2 hours tweaking the 320i with some very close racing round Monza.

The interim report.

The 320i is a slug, stock. Period.
With some fine tuning details to be verified by johnboy and i.
1190 kg, 275 bhp, Transmission stock 270 kph max. Racing Mediums.
Aero set to max with some LSD and Suspension adjusting.

Managed a credible 2:02's - 3's and in chasing down that C30 a hot lap of 2:01.962

Many thanks to johnboy. We need comms next time that PSN chat is so slow. LOL.

Hmmm...try 280 HP, see if that will help close down the gap.

EDIT: nvm about this

We did 275bhp was competitive against the Volvo we had 2 very close races gap only 0.152 of a second a full grid will bring more drafting into things which will also help.👍

As long as everyone is able to do around 2.02's at Monza the series will work just fine.

oh ok. What race settings did you use?

Settings as your opening page regulations, we maxed out the BMW's downforce which brought it in nicely (with Volvo) with its 275bhp and better tyre wear.

No, the lobby/lounge settings, eg: ABS, traction control and whatnot.

O right ABS 1 everthing else off standard online racing regulations is that what you where planning??

It was damn close racing with a bit of bumping, but hey thats WTCC ;)

Will need to increase weight penalty by another 10 kg to 1200 kg as per OP. Tyre wear will be an issue.

Hey somebodysb2, can mic and I use the golf gti 05. It meets the weight and power regulations. Its getting hard to find a suitable car.

Currently my Ford Focus ST is Performance Blue with white wheels. Is there anyone you want me to team with? What time will we be starting?

If you are looking for a cool track that's a bit different, you should try deep forest reverse. It has that two fast corner after the start/finish straight, then there's the off cambered back section, then after the tunnels the pace picks up through a faster section back down to the hairpin, finishing over the start/finish line. This track is fantastic for the power range of these cars. Give it a go. Great track to set your car up for.
