WTF???Bug or what!

No, it's not a bug.

If you save the file, then play it back you'll see it only goes up to a certain point - that point will be the point at which you saw "Replay Save Complete". You see, there's only a limited amount of space to save stuff in - and imagine having to collect 2 hours' worth of your button presses... You run out of space.

The time at which the message appears is directly dependant on the amount of input you make. The longest save I've ever had was 42 minutes long.

So it's normal.

JW31 - I realise you mean well, but if you don't know the answer it's best not to speculate and worry the guy into thinking his game is broken...

Aha,so that's why it says it.

I guess I put more input than you then... :D

What it you broke out and just did the rubberband trick? Or even better, what if you just sat there at the begining of a race and did nothing for hours? What then?

It records input direction, strength and duration. So it would record one LONG full acceleration input. Right up to the point the PS2 crashed or fried.

However in a race situation it ALSO records the 5 AI car's inputs, so there'd be a finite time still before the message popped up. And you lost.
