So did you guys find some better setups/different cars then? I will be on there tommorow night for some practice if the lobby is still open, if not I will just set one up myself.đź‘Ť
 
I definatly didnt! I really dont want to use that ford gt, but it looks like im going to be 3-4 seconds off the pace :(

lol, try some other cars mate. The gt is good because it is predictable and has really good power delivery but probably doesn't have the best turn in. Plenty of others are worth looking at.
 
Tharain, I was thinking as there are only a couple of days before rules are finalised I might throw in a last suggestion:

Increase the race length (25 laps - Nurburgring GP) and include a mandatory pitstop?
I just thought the increased race length would put more emphasis on concentration and the pitstop adds a bit more spice as well? You would still keep the race below an hour long?

I think the first race is going to be a carnage with alot of different cars.

And then race #2 will be all the same cars because all copied the winning car :D
 
Hehe, maybe but in fact the car doesn't make the difference alone ;)

I'm between two cars... gotta make some more tests :P
 
Yeah I dont think its clear cut, some cars might be a bit slower over a single lap but if you can lap consistantly, dont kill your tyres and the car is easy to drive then that might be worth more than the outright quickest car. This is my dilema....

About 20 hours remaining till the race :)

I'm excited altough I already know I might not win it with the current state of my tuning but hey, the season is long ;)
 
Simulated the race today, with and withou tire change.
The time was almost the same...Can´t decide if I´m gonna
change tires or not in the race...:scared:
 
looking forward to this! havent done any work on my car though so I'll be aiming for not last! Tharain, I recommend a private lobby tommorow so we dont get any randomers taking spots that arent theirs
 
Yeah its going to be interesting, was a good decision on the number of laps. I think we should clear up that those who do decide to pit MUST stay inside the white pit exit line untill it ends. I think cutting across on someone before that should be a penalty.
 
Yes, 4 hours remaining till I open the lobby, then 20 minutes qualifying and then the race :)

And I added the rule considering staying within the pit lane :)
 
I know that rule is in the real world but..

Who is going to make sure people dont do it?..

Its going to be word against word. who is right and who is wrong :)
 
I see your point, with there being no replay but we just have to be fair. If we are not fair then the series won't work so I think eveyone just wants some decent clean racing.

Ok, but back to the race.We had a clean fight in the first and second lap with Bigadz83.It was very nice.
Then in the end I saw Bigadz spinning, and after that I had
no problem controlling the race.I´m glad I decided to go for
the pitstop so the car was very easy to drive.

So everyone will know: If You exit the track during free run to make some changes to Your car, Your earlier best lap won´t count. Maybe thats what happened to Bigadz, cause he drove the fastest lap in Q, but I got the pole...

Yeah it was a good battle, would like to have seen the replay of that. I touched the grass when going around libercrav at about 160 which wasn't good news, I will just drive through next time. Bit of a shame as would have been a battle to the end.
Bit of a joke with so many people not showing....

Well done eppe and Tharain had decent pace as well. Was good fun.
