Right Ive managed to download the 3 dlc cars from the Japanese store, and I can confirm they make no difference if you're using a PAL disc. :(

Well for starters, Japan's PS3 is NTSC..

So ppl outside of Japan can dl them? What you mean PAL makes no diff?
 
so i created a japanese account, downloaded and installed all three cars, but i'm not seeing any of them in my game. Any ideas?

It's because you need a Japaneese version/disc of the game.

I did. North America never got the CL XJ-13 or the R10/787B Stealth. Those are the only DLC cars I'm missing because they're flat out unobtainable in North America.

I did not get the Jag either, and I really want that car, so I am going to win it. It is the prize in A Spec Indy 500, I am not looking forward to the time that will requiire. :crazy:

I am ticked we didn't get the CL XJ-13 myself, but unless I am imagining it in my garage, we did get the 787B Stealth. It was a pre-order bonus in most stores that took pre-orders. Oh well maybe tomorrow we will wake up to the R10 Stealth here in the US.

Nope, the pre-orders in NA were:

Nissan GT-R: Best Buy
Honda NSX: Walmart
Mercedes AMG: Amazon
McLaren F1 / Joey Logano Nascar: Gamestop

About the stealth cars.. The 787B is a standard car in GT5.. Is the stealth version also standard?

It's actually both. You can get a standard 787B from the UCD and a premium 787B from the dealerships. The stealth 787B is premium.
