X1 after Vettel leaving RBR

Newey isn't leaving Red Bull.
He's not designing the RB11 either lol. Newey's mind at RBR checked out last year. He's just "overseeing the process". The only reason hr is staying at RBR is because they gave him and offer he couldn't refuse as Ferrari was about to poach him. They're literally paying him to not work for someone else. Vettel is essentially leaving because RBR is about to be mid fielders. He doesn't have newey and much of the engineers he was surround by for the past five plus years have moved on. It is time to go and newey had the exact same idea. He is done with F1 cars as they've made too many aero regs. Funny how poor a car becomes when you remove a traction control system that couldn't be figured out, using the harvesting system for the KERS unit.

Nothing... Vettel or not I think no new X1 will be added to the list. The cars will be kept in GT7 but probably no special events for them.

yes, expand with RB elsewhere than just F1... So much more they could do.
RBR could have their f1 cars put in the game sans 2014 cars. Idk why they've not done that yet. They own the rights to everything on all of them and PD already has licensing with Renault and Infiniti. RB7-9 should be in it. Blown diffusers sound awesome. Not all three had blown diffusers, but still.

Except rights to the F1 belong to FOM and only Codemasters has the F1 license to include their cars. Manufacterer Licensing doesn't automatically mean access to F1 cars.

FOM has nothing to do with F1 cars nearly that old nor does codemasters. Maybe not the RB9, because of CM. Other than that, no rights to those cars other than getting the rights from sponsors to put their labels on the cars, so they have full livery.

This is just like FOM not having rights to BOSS GP cars and such. That have no stakes in them anymore, other than FOM footage of them.

Citation needed...

The issue is no different as to why Porsche is in EA games...

Oh, really? I'd double check on that reasoning for F1. Google it. Also, poke around for why cars that are not current are not controlled or have their owned by FOM. You don't get a bibliography, because you don't pay attention to f1. They don't get the rights to a livery for eternity. That would wildly stupid. You just regurgitating what you've read on the internet - No F1, because of FOM. Little more complicated and not so simplified.

To be fair, FOM being FOM this appears to be a murky area - I was under the impression that when the Concorde Agreement was in effect, it was indeed the case that FOM blocked the use of older cars, back to 1980 when Bernie Ecclestone achieved world domination - except for Ferrari, who had special privilege. But now they don't have Concorde and the teams have seperate commercial agreements, things seem to be more relaxed, hence we have a Lotus in Forza, McLarens in Simraceway, etc.

So I agree that it may well be possible Red Bulls could appear in non-CM games - but I think this may still depend on whether thay have agreement on this with FOM.

Thing is, you said they could've included all of them when they can't. Due to the strange way the license works, having more then one F1 car in a game that isn't licensed somehow makes It a F1 race. I cannot make this up, I read this somewhere but that's basically how it works.

Also, I wasn't talking about older F1 cars.

Even then, notice that most various sims that have one, have no more then one F1 car. Not sure how the Simraceway deal came about (having multiple cars, including recent ones), but usually no more then one F1 car (excluding GT5 and Ferrari, which is already a special case well known to begin with.)

Oh, ok m8 lol. Never said put all of anything. Said RB6/7/8/9 or so.

Don't care. You sound like you're ten.

As @TRGTspecialist says, what about all the individual F1 cars in GT5/6, PCARS, AC, or FM5 (Including them adding 30s and 60s F1 cars as well as having those two 1976 mobiles at launch).

I mean I would gladly dump all the X1 cars for an IRL Red Bull machine.

Maybe I misinterpreted it, but it seems like you suggest that all three should be in it.

Also, I sound like I'm ten? Who pissed in your food? I wasn't even attacking you so I don't even begin to understand why you needed to make that response to me.

Yes...and I did again in the second post you quoted. I said rb6/7/8/9 the second time. The first time I used a dash. You really don't want to play word games with me. It has never gone well for other people on here. I say what I mean and I know what I say. I read my posts before I hut reply. You are not going to win at nitpicking word-play. I said you sound like it, not that you are. For all I know, you're twice my age, but that doesn't change what or how you wrote. Logic, man. Logic.

I'm not playing "word games", I simply interpreted from that first post that you were saying that all three should be in the game, nothing more.

Vettel is just the driver for RBR at the time. I dont see the connection between him and the future of X1 cars inGt

I like the way you think!
i know, like i'd totally work for polyphony, they don't know what they'r missing.
Altough on second second guess i think they'd remove the car and the event, if the partnership with the redbull franchise they will probably go for some other thing such as rallycross or a drifting event; there's a lot of drivers sponsored by red bull at the moment, maybe they will prefer someone more "trendy"than the recent F1 drivers.
