Just don't use an end table with glass table top. Being the brain surgeon I am that was my wheel stand for a while. Until the FFB (and anger) made me lift the table and slam it back down shattering the glass table top.

Now I have a home made wheel stand that folds up (its never folded up). Since making it, I have added a wireless keyboard that can detach if needed. I hope to get another seat Audi S4 seat that I would attach to the base. I hate how office chairs start to spin when you really don't want them to.

A simple desk works fine as a mount, assuming that you have a TV to size (GT5 on a 19" screen - is meh, but does the trick). If not, all you really need is a solid frame to mount to, so you could probably make your own with a trip to to the local lumber yard. A large, flat surface to put the pedals on and a smaller surface elevated and centered over this one to mount the wheel to. Think of the Pyramids, but hollow and only the bottom 1/4th of it. The shape should help to provide some stability for the wheel's rattle.

Also, this is exactly why I have ceased trying to drive an X1 at more than 200mph - the DFGT has too much of a dead zone (and the X1 REALLY screams around Kart Space). I'll wait for a Thrustmaster before I try doing LeMans or the 'Ring 24h with one, lest the dead zone destroy my nerdy arms.

me thinks you need to spend a few minutes cleaning up after the kiddies.

I always love seeing pictures of girls trying to look sexy and seeing a ton of kids crap in the background. lol

IT DOES NOTHING! Otherwise I probably would have done it by now. I don't need a smooth ride necessarily, but I don't need one that I can hear over the noise of Pittsburgh International Airport just up the street either.
