Hey guys, Im planning on buying a XBox 360 bundle pack from Costco, is this a smart decision after reading all the problems here? And also, I have the 2Wire Wireless internet with SBC DSL so, would it be able to connect using a Ethernet cable? Thanks!
As for the whole thing going on with the HD craze, make sure it comes with the component cables!
I recently bought PGR3, and the picture is amazing in HD. When does PGR4 come out anyway?
Hey do you guys know when the updated xbox360s will come out with the hd dvd drive?
I plan on buying one around april next year (forza 2)

The Hard Drive is quite a necessary thing really. You can still play the main games, but you cannot download and play the arcade games off the marketplace without it, as the memory card is only big enough to carry one or two. Plus, you can download demos, extra maps, trailers and movies - all odf which you cannot do without it. If you buy the Premium Pack 360, though, it comes with it, so you have no need to buy one separately.
All of this is assuming that you did mean Hard Drive, right? Not the HD DVD drive...?
this is an Xbox live question , if I bought an NTSC system , would I be able to play with friends in the UK who have the PAL version?
or is it a region free and it depends on the game region? if yes then can I PAL player play online against an NTSC player?
Duċk;2503377You can play with anyone in the world.
Most of our computers in this household is connected up to the internet wirelessly by USB, including the 360, and we have had no major problems on that front. I do have a occasional game (ie TDU) where pretty much everyone is laggy or I cannot join unless it has a couple of players (ie Burnout), but I'm sure that's due to the poor connection to the server, or the router screwing things up. Everything else is totally fine.I don't know if anybody mentioned it yet, but do not waste $100 on the wireless adapter. It goes through USB, so it gets very laggy. I figured this would also be the case with the PS3, but seeing it onboard (and not going through a USB bottleneck), it works flawlessly.
Duċk;2484757Costco almost always have the latest manufactured 360s, and even if still poops out on you (which I seriously doubt), you can return it since they have the best return policy. Ever. You could return a six month old 360 there and they'd let you return it or get a new one.
And the ethernet cord will work.
PGR4 is due to be released in Fall 2007.
