Hey Xenn,

Wow...thanks man...the GT3 a-spec PAL codes (ai related) work fine! I see you got some NTSC codes for GT3...great. Can you port from PAL to NTSC? Would like the ai related codes in NTSC version. Plus, Those NTSC codes are for gameshark (I don't have this), I have armax and codebreaker v9.2 - I converted those codes to CB 9.2 using omniconvert and it hung the game. Can you please list them out in CB 9.2 format?

BTW, can you hack better tire-related and 1 lap codes for the game (PAL version)? The codes from codejunkies.com:
http://uk.codejunkies.com/search/codes/Gran-Turismo-3-A-Spec_Action-Replay-MAX_13631648-13___.aspx
most don't work!! Really appreciate the above and any other new GT3 codes.

Try these here. Codes highlighted in blue can be used with the PAL version aswell.

Fortunately, some of the codes in the PAL version are the same in the NTSC-U version, so I can port them easily.

I think Codejunkies' code for the Tire Wear is targeting the wrong codes. Which is why it won't work.

Hey Xenn...thanks a lot. Will test them out soon! Could you please port the AI-related PAL codes to NTSC (CB 7+). Great codes...never seen them before and a whole better than the ones on codejunkies!

Ah whoops, I forgot about those. Here you go. I've also fixed the lap codes as I made a small mistake on them.

Here you go Sonygamer, I got the save done for you.

Let me know if I missed anything, thanks.

You'll want to export the .psu file to the PS3 and it should change it to a .psv file.

Edit: Best to keep a backup of your save before you do this.

Thank you Xenn! Glad to finally have it after searching so long! :)👍

I just tried copying it to my ps3 and sadly it did not recognize it.:nervous: It only recognizes .PSV and .VMP files from what i know.:indiff: I think Famine may be able to convert it.;) It seems like he mentioned he made a save game using X-Port then posting on here in .PSV. I'll try asking him.

In the mean time, for future reference Xenn, one way you could convert saves to .PSV format is to convert whatever save you have to a .MAX file then copy it to your max drive, then to the memory card. Once thats done use the memory card adapter to copy it to the PS3 and BAM! You have a .PSV file!💡

I think they may have this memory card adapter on ebay or amazon or if your lucky you may find it in your local game store.;) Ether way if you plan to make save games for other people in the future, that adapter is your best friend.;)

EDIT: You think you can post the codes for those Hidden tracks in GT PSP please?:D

I could convert the save to .max, but I don't have an adapter for my memory card.

The codes for those hidden tracks are the same as they were before, I was using the PAL version.

hey xenn can you make a video for the 156 ??

The most I can do is show a video of it without the proper parts, but i'd have to make another with the proper parts when I find them.

Well keep your eyes open Xenn.;) If you know anybody that has both a max drive, shark port or codebreaker and a memory card adapter, please notify me!

Oh i forgot, you don't have the ntsc version.:indiff: If you get the ntsc version or some way to convert the codes to ntsc that would be nice.:)

Say Xenn, I have a request for a video, if possible. I know this is from quite a while ago in the thread, but I would like to see a video of the "Free Gear Select" code for GT2 in action, and how a car (I don't care which one) will act beyond 7th gear. Could this ever be made possible? I just want to see what will happen with 8, 9 or even more gears.

I've tried the pizza hut demo codes, but I can't get them to work for some reason. I've tried a track loader code and I still ended up on rome. Xenn, what do you play your demo on?

EDIT:

Never mind, I figured out that I entered the wrong codes. Sorry about that.

I wish the final GT2 had the Castrol Supra in blue like in the demo, I loved that color option in GT1 and the Special color black castrol supras.

I could do, i'll see what I can do.

Uhm, About the "Your car sound like the AI" Code, do you have the Japanese one? Thanks. :)

I'll make one soon, just need to find the difference between the NTSC and NTSC-J versions.

Do you have that code for v1.0? :)

Sadly I don't have v1.0. So I can't make a code for it just yet.

:(

Eh, how's the progress with code to clear the unused Glanzas after using garage modifier code in GT1?

So far, my attempts of removing them haven't be so successful. They don't seem to be removed when I make them, so have to find a way around that.

Well after looking at those codes you quoted, that is the only thing that changes. Me and you should work together and try and find some more cars.;)

We should, but that might take a while. I'm still messing with the body codes of that other car code I've shown a while back where I found a solid red viper and a silver daytona cobra.

^ According to SportWagon, car selling values start at $9B90C. I am not sure if it is for version 1.0 or 1.1, however. Have you checked that? Maybe that's the solution - set a value other than 0 on those ;)

Ah, that's quite handy indeed. Thanks for that, i'll keep note of it.

Is there a way to get other cars this way by changing the codes. I want to know since these codes replace the mustang with a certain car and show the car's colors.

There are indeed other ways to get more cars. If you convert each 2 digit value in the 80 codes to text, you'll get a letter. Each car has it's own code in the game, for example:

[R]Mobil 1 NSX '99s values converted = h2n1r. That's it's car code.

For this example, let's use the Corvette '96. We first need to get it's car code, which is ccrcn. Let's convert that text to hex. It turns into 636372636E.

Now all we have to do now, is to replace the digits for our car. For example...

80028C98 0068 -> 80028C98 0063
80028C99 0032 -> 80028C99 0063

And so on...

Once you've replaced all the 80 codes with the new values, try pressing R2. You should get the Corvette in the Mustang's place now.

You can find most car codes here: http://www.lecoyote.net/gtweboldbc/gt2actio.htm

Hex to text: http://www.string-functions.com/hex-string.aspx

Hope that wasn't too complicated.

Holy crap, that is awesome. Thank you Xenn. BTW, I've used some of your codes in a few videos I posted on youtube. I gave you credit though. I hope that it okay.
