@Xenn Do you think you could make a video on what some of the Gran Turismo 2 codes do? I just want to see a visual representation. That would be great.

If I remember correctly, various GTP members here have made videos on some of the codes i've made. RandomCarGuy has quite a few videos which I recommend checking out.

Just an update on the GT PSP AI modifying testing. I've not had much success on the matter, since they appear to be modified just like the player car. I'll keep looking.

More to come soon.

Since early GT2 demos dont have a home garage, this code will let you play as the other cars in the game correctly without glitches.

You know I just realized something, now that you found that VOL Exploder that can open even demo VOL files, maybe you can figure out the name to that "secret track" from the Euro Demo 87 that no one knows the name to. 💡

Well Xenn, it looks like I'll be out to test your codes again and I bet we all know what that means. :P

EDIT: I gave a test run of the Audi S4, it does drive differently than the evo. This is cool, I might have to record a video for it.

Hi all i'm new here i was wondering if any one have a engine code for the mazda rx8 lm race car for the action replay max for gran turismo 4

Found the last remaining playable cars in the GT2 demo Euro Demo 87.

Same requirements as before, you'll want to choose the Lancer Evo V GSR.

Turns out these actually were in the memory. And there's two databases loaded at once. Why that's the case, I wish I knew.

Hello all, first of all, i'd like to thank Xenn and others in this thread for their work on these codes.

I did beat GT2 a while ago after 12 years owning it LOL, and i'd love to sqeeze it to the maximum, so i went for cheat codes to get some challenges.

I'd like to know the answer (or at least some info) to some questions i always wondered regarding GT2 cheats, if possible of course.

- Is it possible to get more than 6 cars on the track? I assume it isn't, probably the game's coding just won't allow it, but probably it will be confirmed for me.

- Is it possible to change AI cars? Not only the body of the car but the whole car. For example, having the Escudo, Cultus etc with their actual power in, say, Sunday Cup.

Will give it a go to some of these wonderful codes.

Any input, info, suggestion is more than welcome :)

Hey there.

More than 6 cars is not possible, unfortunately. It would seem the sequels would attempt to add more AI cars, but ultimately fell flat until GT5 prologue arrived.

I would assume it's possible to change the AI cars. The data for the AI cars is probably loaded somewhere, i'm going to guess in the GT mode menus.

Thanks for the info.

I've tried a bunch of the PAL cheats. Got almost all working perfectly, except these:

- The "Enable/Disable Tyre Wear" works odd. It enables the tyres on the screen but they appear orange at the start, and when i pit they get green and orange when you leave boxes. Also it doesn't seem to have actual wear. I think the behaviour of this code is as i have described, but wanted to make it sure. (I think this behaviour have been described previously on this thread, so probably there is no way to fix this code).

- "2P in GT Mode" also works, but the 2nd player is on Automatic Pilot. I saw somewhere a code to enable/disable autopilot on the 2nd player, do you think it would be possible to fix this code to get 2 players on GT Mode? Is it still WIP or you have already discarded this code?

Maybe i'm being too greedy, but just want to make sure if these codes are "fixable" or just impossible to achieve in GT2.

@Xenn, I have a request; a code that allows me to use Rally Class in road tracks in GT3's arcade mode - as well as a unlock all arcade mode cars code. :)

I can look into these two.

Hey i got a idea for all of course what if we recreate the engine sounds from gt3 to gt4.

That sounds absolutely impossible, I don't see how this can work.

This is what i mean remember the rx8 lm that car have's the engine sound that the rx7 lm have in gt3 just engine swap the cars in you'll see.

Can you help me to convert Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec ARMAX this PAL to CodeBreaker NTSC?

Hello, a little problem here that shouldn't be happening. I tried the "Load Any Track" cheat but none of them is working.

My game is PAL version, i tried PAL version cheat, the PAL/NTSC 1.2 version and the NTSC version (all of them in the OP). PAL and NTSC crash the game, and the PAL/NTSC 1.2 works but the camera points to a strange place and the car doesn't appear, no sound either.

I know some people have this cheat working (did read on the first pages of this thread), any ideas where is the problem?

Hi there, I can confirm the Load Any Track code is working for me.

Are you trying this on real hardware? I may have to make a workaround if that is the case.

Not exactly, my PS1 died years ago and, let's say my computer is simulating PS1 hardware (you probably know what i mean). I tried all the "Load Any Track" codes from this thread. Thanks for your interest anyway.

Here's another code you could try.

Load Any Track (PAL)
E00B4A75 0000
300AF260 0022

This may work for you.

Nope, still no luck. It did an improvement tho, it loads the track and the camera is now down on the track (before it pointed to the sky) but the cars don't appear. :S i'm starting to think i have a problem with my game.

I've tried in test run and race, the problem is exactly the same in both modes.

EDIT:

Forgot to ask about other curious things.

1) I remember there was damage (not visual, it only bends the tyres if you hit a wall or other car) available in arcade mode, would it be possible to enable it on GT Mode?

2) Would it be possible to get the overhead view on a race?
0:32 ->
It was available only on replays i think.

3) I remember i have watched on YouTube a version of Monaco and weird dirt tracks in GT2. Are those tracks covered by the "Load Any Track" cheat? (hope i can get it to work).

Hey there, I'm sorry but, this code have a bug. This code don't FINISH the race.
