Is there a GT4.vol Exploder somewhere? Also, is there a way to load/view the GT4 cars in a menu (for example in a dealership menu) aswell as it's colours? (Pretty much like the "Buy Any Car" cheat from GT2)

If that is the case then GT4 & GT HD would have been modded already. They use the same GT4.VOL from what someone told me.

Unlock "Tune Shop" menu

Swap "Map" menu with "Go Race" menu

Swap Toyota Dealership with Nissan Dealership

Yes, there is a way. I have not made such a code yet, but it will replace the NSXGT in Simulation Mode. You need EncounterGTR's code enabled with "Replace Special Car for..." code. It is pretty simple to do with hexing, and it's quicker that way.

Ok cool, by any chance do you know where i can get that replace special car code? I searched for several months now across the web, even non-english speaking sites, and only got a little list(for both gt1 early build demos). Nothing like what encountorGTR or gtpxenn, or randomcarguy17 or mattj155 what they have on there youtube channels. I know im way late to this party, sorry. Also has anyone heard from XENN recently? Ive sent him a message about the codes before i postsd here, but no answer.......

Also encountorGTR never finished posting those menu codes either...... only got nissan, ugh.......

I'll try to make a code, like always use the Trial Version code that EncounterGTR made to activate this code, all it simply does is replace the car name address data, which is the full car. Right now in the process of saving for a better PC. These are specialty designed codes by GTPers, they looked through the hex data, and searched through multiple builds of GT, and yet we haven't stopped yet.

Xenn has been pretty inactive, no reasons as to why. Maybe he has a different hobby, life, etc.
 
Thank you, but i dont want to stick to arcade mode and just body swap cars. I want to play the game in sim mode on the demos. Like i can do with gt1 test drive demo!

Well can you or anyone please with a comp that can do this,:

Can i get the memory values chart of some cars?

Cause i want to swap "stock OEM" rims on some of my hybrids instead of using the wheel shop with aftermarket wheels. I.e i mean as an example, i want to use the "spoon civic type-r" rims on other hondas like my 93 eg6 civic si or my 93 del sol si. I have the gameshark rim basecodes but i need the stock oem rims car part codes. The format of the chart is below " GS/CDX format codes + memory editor " web archiver has really helped to find old gran turismo forums and stuff like body mods like taking a s2000 convertible top and actually folding it down so it looks like its top down.

(I already have a full code list of the aftermarket wheels shop, so i dont need these)

From the website, it gives you the base offset from the codes. These are RAW formatted codes, they have yet to be converted into GameShark or CDX codes of some kind.

I can try altering my data on some of my cars to make GS codes for you to use. Or you can use this website I found years ago detailing about GT2 hybriding.

Are there multiple trial versions or something? I tried using one of the cheats you listed and it caused my demo to crash.

Also, do you have gameshark cheats that allow me to access the home garage and career mode events?

I believe he means GT: Trial Version (NTSC/J).

Remember, to active those codes when you are in GT Mode.
Also, where exactly it crash? During loading screen? If yes remember to disable the codes before starting a race or exit from GT Mode.

After you select the NSX disable the codes before you select the track.

Yeah, i'm not very good to create codes without the game to crash.

It was as the game was booting up, I loaded the codes before starting the trial. I didn't know that I couldn't do that.

EDIT: Also, thanks for the link; I didn't notice that. Wow though, that's a long code! I just tried the cheat after starting the game, it worked!

And there are 2 gt1 pre final japanese versions, pcpx-96085 gt trial version, and papx-90022 gt test drive.


And encountorgtr could you do a complete gt test drive gt menu codes besides the nissan you listed?

And i dont have a computer or any way of digging into the game disc files, im playing from my smartphone......... after goofing off i found out:

For to turn vehicle wheels/rims back to oem stock wheels (i.e. you like the stock rims better than any aftermarket rims) its "code 1" 0100 and "code 2" 0000.



GT2 sim mode NTSC v1.2
#Turn rims back to oem stock rims
801cd560 0100
801cd562 0000



It works for me, so it should turn your rims back to stock rims.


Now i just gotta figure out how to swap oem stock spoon civic type r rims on to my spoon s2000, and a few other hondas.......

Pcpx-96085 is NTSC/J purepure vol.8 disc 2, i have the slu # number somewhere. The same trial version (pcpx-96085) is also the same build as pcpx-96088 as its own disc, i believe........ both 85 and 88 are the same builds.
