Searching For Evidence of Hidden Things GT1 Version

I found on internet a way to increase the number of cars in a track , the best working is 8 but in SSR5 , CSR5 and SSR11 the game will work with 13 cars on track.
This only with the Gran Turismo - Test Drive Disc.

13 cars creates Trulli trains for some reason. Also, this proves that unlike GT2, the position sign in GT1 are text, not solid graphics. ;)

If anyone is interested i have the code to unlock all menus (GT Mode) in GT Trial Version.

Active this code when you are in GT Mode Map, after disable it.

This is the longest code i made so far.

EDIT: I've shortened the code.

That's probably the longest code i've ever seen :embarrassed: But 8(^u^)8 ~yay

Thankee xD I still haven't yet had time to try the way you described too so that'll help ^^

Yesterday I had experimented with the Trial Version, and did the license tests. It's very simplified, and is hard to tell whether you beat the gold time. I will get pictures up today if I can.

True i can confirm this, some license tests are very easy compared to retail version (I golded IA licenses test in my first try) while some are hard (A-7).
Maybe because the car physic are different compared to retail version.

Well... The Sunday Cup was originally going to have 3 lap races instead had 2 laps on the final version.

Try to do the All-Night SSR11 and see how much laps you have to do...
Also somehow viewing the Demio GL-X from dealership crash the game.

Well I hacked through the menus in the US demo of GT1, and it surprised me almost like GT: Trial Version....

Yeah, i remember that demo. The difference i found in that demo are:

Car Wash Theme and Race/License/Machine-Test Theme are inverted.
Home Theme is a bit different compared to final version.
And you can't race in GT Mode in this demo, because there is only one track: Clubman Stage R5

Had different music, much longer version of home?

I so much want the Mazda, Honda Dealership background photo in good quality.
Someone found the Honda one, it was from a brochure I believe.

Hold on, I'll see if I can find it...

Edit: couldn't find it on the forums, but I think this is the image:

Here's a really similar one to the Mazda, but it isn't the same

I found something

Same number plate as the one in the Mazda dealer, 335 YMT 27

Everytime i watch GT1 intro i wish i could drive the cars with those graphics, Its like they always had PS2 engine almost done from the first days of GT1.

Tried my hand at recreating the GT1 Honda dealer background using the scan of the original brochure. I'm not 100% satisfied with it, but it is what it is.

i cannot tell the difference from first glance! Superb! Thanks

Im camparing them right now and its like 99,999% the same! (original from GT1 has bad comprimation around tail lights)

I could almost hear the Honda dealer music when looking at it :D

Also, that black Copperhead is so much want

Makes me wonder what they used to render that, and if the engine could be out there somewhere. Classic example of "if only the game looked this good!" I with they would redo GT1 faithfully for the PS4, adding maybe a couple newer models following on from cars in game.

By the way, that crystal logo sequence is so amazing!
