Xport on Macs

I've been wondering if Xports work at all on Macintoshes. I know it requires for the PC to use it, but I'm wondering if my Mac would be smart enough to recognize it as an external disc/removable media. Anyone have experience with this?

Well, it is a usb piece of equipment, so a Mac can adapt to it. You might require a Windows emulator, though.

I have no clue... since you have an Xport and a Mac, why don't you try for yourself and report back to us?

I would think that it needs drivers or something for the system to be able to read the Memory Card file system.

xport won't work on mac unless the required software is available for mac...Unless of course the xport is recognized as a removable drive (i'm not really sure how it works so I can't say). If it recognizes as a removable drive, it should work great then - as long as it's usng a compatible filesystem.

From my experience with Linux for PS2, Sony has developed a propriatary file system for the Memory Card.

Well, after a quick Google search, I found this thread at GT by Numbers. So it looks like I'm SOL unless I want to get VPC.
