GTP12 feels so lonely. :(

Previous version showed the names of the people watching a certain thread. And you could see who was online/offline.

Can someone help with my avatar please? It shows up in most threads as my ZENT SC430, but in the rumble strip it is my old Tilton Evo pic - really confusing me. It also switches between the two when I update my status.

I had that happen earlier; give it a little bit of time, mine was swapped over completely in all parts of the site after a few minutes. I'm not sure what the technical explanation could be (@Jordan would know more about that), but my guess is that making the many differently-sized versions for use around the site sometimes takes a bit of time to complete.
 
Thanks, only real negative I can think of for GTP now, and it's a minor teething issue. Love the new layout.
 
Is it still not allowed to double post? Or is it due to the new server and more bandwidth (correct?) not such a problem anymore?
 
Same rules as before - if it's separated by a decent amount of time (as in hours, not minutes) AND it adds something to the discussion, double post. Otherwise don't.
 
None of this bothers me the slightest, but I'm wondering whether custom user titles (besides in the user profiles) and Premium members usernames in (bold?) red will ever make a return?
 
Has the "last edited by......." stamp been removed?

I noticed I/we can't see if a post has been edited.

I noticed the page number indicator was altered a few minutes ago. It's much easier to tell what page I'm on now without the yellow box, so cheers. 👍

No red/green light/dot to show if someone is on or off line?
 
Is GTP12 finished or are you going to add new features, things and stuff?

I added a custom title but it doesn't show. What am I doing wrong? "If specified"! Specified what? My gender?

I just typed up, a rather long, layout of an idea of mine to discuss with multiple friends, only to find out I can only converse on it with 1 friend at once, rather than all intended at the same time, simply because I (& they) don't have or want a premium membership at this time.

Not exactly thrilled about it, doesn't exactly expedite progress for a new race league or series start-up, and I believe this will only drive people to find a better medium for group communication (Skype for example) far before getting a premium membership here.

Just my 2 cents. For an update that boasts improved socialization, this is a very limiting 'feature' IMO.

Also now that we don't have the group function, these "Conversations" are extremely important. You said that they'll replace groups but you only replaced it for those who has the money to do so.

Ask someone to start a group and invite 2 other people, then when he leaves see if you can add the others.

I don't know if it'll trick the system but it's worth a shot.

Yeah, weirdly I always liked this very much. Is it coming back?

Another thing, possibly asked / discussed already; can we see the thread views somehow anymore?
 
Regular members can now start conversations with up to 10 other people.

@Timppaq Maybe; that's coming back. See my thread with documented bugs.
 
Of course, leave it to me to me to forget stuff. :lol: Now I don't have to worry about deleting conversations in my inbox! :D
 
Has anyone had an issue where a quoted post wouldn't "un-quote"? There were a few threads in which I quoted a post in the reply box but decided not to. Its been a day or two and it still shows up in the reply box, even after deleting the entire text repeatedly.

I've tried deleting the text in the rich and basic editor, it comes back when I leave the thread then come back - leaving using links not back button.

This may or may not be an existing feature, but would love it if we can stop the .gifs photos from loading.

That's not something which can be supported on the site. You'll need to look into browser settings or browser plugins For that type of functionality.
