i heard that there is no punishment as long as both of the particapants are under age.

No he told her he loved her and its BS so now hes ****ed cos shes all serious. Umm ok I dont know... once I hooked up with like my best friend (female) and then she thought it was all serious and that **** went... wierd and Ill never have a chance with anyone from that school again. That was of no help... umm dude I know this is screwed but either continue to lie or tell the truth and get a rep for being a total asshole. I know what I'd do.

Being 16 is cool cos all the 14 and 15 yr olds think ur heaps mature;)

Interesting theory. Let's try it out.

Consensual sex between a 15 year old boy and an 8 year old girl.

That would be a big fat NFW.

A 14 year old boy was, last year in the UK, prosecuted, convicted and made to sign the sex offender's register for 10 years for accessing pictures of "girls his own age" on the internet.

The facts:
Sex with a minor is illegal in most countries (I believe the age of consent is 12 in Cambodia and 14 in South Carolina, but most other places it's 16 or higher).
Sex between minors is illegal.
Discussing sex with a minor is therefore banned on this site.
The End (again).


Now, although the police rarely prosecute in cases of sex between minors (unless the age gap is as big as my example), it is STILL illegal - much as though speeding is illegal but you can do quite a lot of it without being prosecuted. I'm fully for anyone getting an underage girl pregnant, whatever the age of the male, being placed on the sex offender's register for 5-10 years. I mean, there's plenty of evidence knocking about (or crawling about). Perhaps the thought of never being able to get a job through this stigma might convince a few boys to put it away again - or at least use proper contraception. Or, as Josh said, "stick it in teh pooper".

And isn't the charge 'statatory (sp?) rape'? And no matter what the girl says, the guy always gets busted for it.

He's eight, just slept with a 16 yr old and although he is going to be charged, it is unlikely he will be severly repremaded.
