Just out of total curiosity, why was this thread closed? :)

I know there were one or two negative posts, but that doesn't usually result in a locked thread (especially without a moderator posting an explanation why). :p

Maybe because everything that needed to be said was said, and once it devolved into a slanging match it would have been best to give it the lock?

I'm not sure a mod needed to say why it was closed either in this case, since the last few posts say it all.
 
I'm guessing so, I don't know? But I think he closed it for the reason Wiegert stated. I don't think it was a mod?
