It's not an opinion, it's fact.
Vipers have a few things that make them crap for drag racing, they have IRS, and the gearing is completely wrong.
IRS is fine for cornering but as soon as you get to the strip you're at a disadvantage.
The problem for a Viper isin't the power. (Which is quite easy to get from them.) It's that the launch is so bad, what use is a 150mph trap when you can only get high 10s out of it?

Example, a Viper with 900hp that does high 10s, give a Mustang the same amount of power and it'll break into the 9s.

Yeah, you can make them quick if you throw a pile of money at it, but you can run 10s for under 25k with a Mustang.

TL;DR Yeah they can be quick, but at that point you could have something SO much better.

Redbull x2011 nuff said. Never use it on the game but (except for bspec lol) but I would love the opportunity to drive a vehicle capabale of achieving and maintaining 250+mph over long distances and still having more to get to 300+MPH. I am a speed freak when it has 4 wheels.

Wow, some logic you have there...Anything that's breaking into the 7's is fast. What does it matter what it is? Of course a Mustang can break into the 10's for less money. But a Viper will do that with dome bolt-on's and street radials..

And not everyone want's to build a Mustang, or a straight axle car. So going by what you say. If it's something out of the normal it's crap for drag racing? And show me a 900HP Viper only breaking into the high 10's..Either it's a crap driver, or no traction..

Why don't you go tell John Hennessey that Vipers are crap for drag racing?
