Its not just the fact that the licensed machines actually made it into the game, but the fact it would be fun to take Juan Pablo's #42 around Mid-Field and and R246 since Kaz pretty much confirmed that would possible.

Overall though its nice to see that PD is made the effort to get both WRC and NASCAR so we can experience them on tracks no so common with either racing series.

And the fact that you save money by not purchasing Nascar games for 40-60 bucks.

I'm English, so the only thing I know about NASCAR is what I saw in Days of Thunder LOL

But I think it looks great and can't wait to drive some of those cars around an oval.

I like that it's not made by EA.

Also, Montoya hasn't been confirmed for the game yet. Although I hope they include him.

I'm not a huge Nascar fan, but is always fun to watch Montoya in any series when he is racing hard is very entertaining.
Hope to see the 42 in GT5.

I hope you can drive them around the other tracks as well, NASCAR on the Nordscheife .

Like brainfade I look forward to taking a Nascar on Nurburgring, they look and drive so awkward on road courses which is why I love it. :D

Even if gt5 may not have all official nascar tracks. Being able to drive on all the road courses with good physics, makes it better than anything EA could make

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use NASCAR on other circuts. Anyone know any possible reasons as to why PD may not allow us to use NASCAR on other circuts?

KY said in a interview NASCAR officials are happy for us to race the Nascars on other tracks.

Yeah man, i can not wait! I never fallow NASCAR on regular basis, but sure am very excited about making it to GT5! I wonder how will it go round the Nur-Ring

I want to bet that a lot of you will spin out using Nascar at nurburgring. In pro physics of course.

I like that I can now take a V8 Supercar (if the AU makes it back or they put newer better ones in) and thrash a NASCAR on a road course because I've met people who think the NASCARs would actually be faster because they have more horsepower.:sly: It would also be a shock to me if they were faster, and will be cool to see how fast they go down the old Mulsanne Straight at Le Mans. I hope we can turbo them because they'd be monsters on Test Course with turbos.

I think the V8 Supercar is designed for track so it would probably beat a Nascar, been watching them nascars on ovals and it seems to be a handful, they slide quite a bit completely different racing philosophies.
V8 supercar more interesting to watch, but i think both demand a lot of skill for different "car control" reasons

I really can't wait to get my hands on a Nascar car. I'm going to get that badboy so much sideways. I just can't wait on knowing how they handle in the game! :D

I'm very curious to see how the NASCAR cars will handle in the game in road tracks and oval tracks, yesterday i had a good race on GT5P in Daytona on the online event and i'm pretty shure that with NASCAR cars oval tracks will be more fun. =]

And i bought another PSP today (i sold my old one), i just can't wait for GT5 and then i bought it to play GTPSP, and other games as well, of course.

I actually took a Ford Fusion to Fujimi Kaido in Forza 3, with standard settings. The little bugger probably never seen corners with a radius of less than 200 metres before!

Hahahha I understand your frustration.

However, I'm not a big fan of NASCAR, but I enjoy racing as a whole, so I'll definitely be driving and racing the races.

No, it's more like, there's already a thread about NASCAR and people's reactions to it. You don't need to make a separate thread about how it makes you feel warm and fuzzy.:grumpy:

I too would be shocked if Nascar was faster than V8 Supercar, i guess it would depend if it was the nationwide series or the sprint cup as one has a lot more downforce. But either way i imagine V8 supercars would have to be a bit faster from watching them both.

Have you noticed you're the only one who's complaining about nothing?
