You know what I want in GT5?

As a lot of people have noticed, the multiplayer in GT4 was lacking... eh, who am I kidding, it sucked. Hopefully the multiplayer in GT5 will be just as good as the Simulation mode.

yup...ur right, the 2 player mode was terrible..they even downgraded the graphics. Im not sure why....maybe for lack of memory or some other unknown reason, lets just hope they make the 2 player mode more memorable for Gt5.

I'm pretty sure when two people are playing on a single system it has to do double the calculations and double the generation.

Also for 2 player mode, they tried to keep a high frame rate. With the PS2 being pushed to the limits in single player mode already, there was no way the PS2 can do a high frame rate and still have the same graphic beauty in 2 player mode.

All GT games have had worse graphics on 2 player mode. You're basicly asking the console to do twice the work so of course you're gonna have to reduce graphics to maintain 60fps.

Multiplayer in GT4 is perfect as long as you play it in LAN.

It is pretty stupid the way that you cant race other cars in multiplayer. Also if you could race other cars you could like both race for a team, and work together to help each other win the race. This could like have a co-op career mode, something i dont know many other racing games hv.

Yes, that's been my biggest problem with the multiplayer in all the GT's. From what I hear, aren't they planning on using an 18-24 car field for GT Mode in 5? If they're using that many cars in single player, surely they won't limit multiplayer to only 2.

Don't knock the current multiplayer... play it in a LAN game, one person per PS2, with several players - it will change your opinion. Yes that might mean lugging TV and PS2s, but I used to play it with several friends in GT3 and it rocked.

How about using your own cars in 2 player with traction on again, me likes the traction. Racing in team is awesome idea. (Went into 1 player endurance race with cousin as B-spec driver. Got to remember not everyone is as good as me). If he had his own car to race than we could still race together and he won't screw up my run.
