You know you have ALREADY played GT5 too much when...

When your driving a really slow car for fun and you repeat when a car goes past you
I've got that
I've got that
I've got that

When you go down to shift to 2nd gear in your real car then realize that it's an automatic.

I've done this i don't know how many times already

When you Scandinavian flick the shopping trolly at the end of the isle then proceed to drift a perfect hairpin turn into the next isle, almost clipping the edges of the bulk stack of products on the end with the front of the trolley as you "apex" the turn. Then proceed to manji down the entire isle and repeat the process.

I drift with shopping trolley's all the time! 👍

Not only is it faster but its far easier to drive them :dopey:, Racing lines with 4 wheel drifts FTW!

Yes. 👍
Sometimes I go fast and take the drift and expect the wheels to take grip and turn the trolly but then in some cases all 4 wheels of the trolley turn in every direction causing the trolley to just slide into a row full of objects (which dramatically fall to the ground, with glass objects exploding as they hit the ground in slow motion in front of my guilty eyes )!
RANDOMNESS FTW! :sly:

I knew it when I had my Jetta at the limit, tires screaming around a ramp drifting closer to the outside guardrail. Then I realized ALRIGHT I'm not playing GT right now. I don't need to cut tenths off of my time through this entrance ramp...

At least you are in a jetta try hitting the on ramp too fast in a Range Rover 10 min after you were just racing your Ferrari online.

When you see 2 cars of the same model: one with tinted windows and one with un-tinted windows. You think to yourself "The one with the tints must be the standard version"

When you start to criticize the dynamics of your cars handling compared to the heavily modded version you drive in game.

As for on ramps I always take those at or near the limit... I can't help myself.

When you start telling your wife "7 hundred left" when driving in the car with her. Rally is so much fun!

when you are standing in front of a red light
and you start hearing the trademark gt starting signals in your head
3...2...1 g oh wait

When you suddenly come to the realization that the person you just abused for going slow wasn't an AI driver:D:tup:

R*

....when you slow down to pit the Maserati Gran Turismo S behind you because it rammed you in the last race.

when you spend most of your time at work printing google maps of roads in your area so that you can simulate them in GT5s course editor..

when over 90% of your internet browser history comprises of GTPlanet and related GT5 sites..

When you take a ford focus out at midnight to test the damage model only to realise that you're not playing GT5, you're driving your own car...

Smashed it last night, RIP my trusty friend :(

EDIT: have to admit, the damage model in real life is so much more accurate then in GT5!

Im spending more time on this forum reading the "moans" and agreeing, than actually playing the game. Not good after less than a week!
