It's also kinda strange that no one knew about Holden until the GTO. Did you know about Valiant, essentially an Australian Chrysler?

Wow this link here has pics of some of the weirdest Ferrari's I've ever seen. All owned by the Sultan of Brunei. That F50 Bolide is incredibly weird yet interesting.

Yeah my good friend also had a 2000 VT SS (LS1) in blue (not sure of the correct colour name but probably the same), I worked on in for him and drove it from time to time. I actually liked his previous VS SS 5.0 manual (185kw version) better than the VT and so did he.

Wow, that's amazing. I really hope the new one looks just like that, because that looks just like a dang 993. But I think that one is rear engined, eh? I hope they can manage to give the front engined Panamera a rear end like this 989, but from the spy photos I don't think the rear looks very Porsche-like. We'll see.
 
Ferrari Conciso? Never heard of that before. Was that a design exercise by a university o design house or something?

Seen most of the Sultan's cars before, but I still think think that 4-door sedan 456GT deserves a mention as a good bit of design. If Ferrari ever have to sell out (like Porsche and the Cayenne) then I would reckon this would be a viable attempt at a 4-door super GT.

The Bizzarrini 5300 GT. The Strada version is awesome enough, but the race-oriented Corsa version is one of the few cars in the world cool enough to have periscope brake-scoops on top of the car.

The C8 LWB isn't very popular for the price, but it might change since there is a C8 LWB Spyder being prepared.

I believe this is just a custom one-off that actually gets a lot of praise from Ferrari fans.
 
Let's break up the Ferrari trend. My eyes are starting to have a rosy hue.

How about the Crosley? The fact that this is actually an American car,of the 1950s, no less, still serves to boggle the mind. It has less than 1.0L! (For size comparison, see the early '50s 4-door Sedan behind it!!!)

and then there was Aston Martin's "Mustang," their first V8.

Honestly, it does look like a '66 Fastback that Lagonda took, stretched, widened, and threw their signature grille and a few styling cues onto. Funny, because Ford would later buy...and Sell...Aston.
 
I loved that Aston! It just looked so mean...

I learned of the Volvo Duett/122 from a round of "Guess that Car v2!" A great place to learn of such obscure vehicles, if you ask me.

Maybe it was because I was naiive and had no idea that there were cars cooler than a Corvette when I was 12, I was shocked when a neighbor came over one day with a Porsche 924. It wasn't that I didn't know that the Porsche didn't exist, I had always assumed that every one was a 944 or 944 Turbo, I couldn't fathom a VW-powered Porsche "sports car." He still has it, along with a small collection of Saabs that he buys and re-sells from time-to-time. Its a pretty cool car if I say so myself...

The same can nearly be said of the 914, which until I had caught the VW bug (around the age of 14 or 15), wasn't even on my radar.

...So much for being Doug's favorite closet Porsche freak...

No wonder I cant find anything about it. Do you by any chance know what the base car for that was? Im thinking 355ish.
 
I love that Bizarinni. In fact when I was very young, I used to have a little Burgundy coloured Matchbox-esque model of it and thought it was the most beutiful car I'd ever seen.

If I can remember correctly, it was built during the 360 Modena period, so it's got a few years on it. But yeah, it's not very old.

Ok, found the thread. The car is custom built on a Testarossa chassis in the UK. Most of it uses original Ferrari parts, so it's on the border line of being a Ferrari one-off.

It is very rare that anyone will see this car out on the streets.
 
It's quite a mix match of different Ferrari styling cues. I can see influences from F40 engine cover, 355 rear lights and side intakes, 512 BBi rear windows, 288 GTO Evoluzione rear bumper, 360 CS wheels and a hint of P4 in the front. Good contribution, I had never seen this car before.
