For example for an endurance race you should be able to do split the driving, especially for the mega endurances such as Le Mans 24 hours. If you go off and watch TV and have a cup of Tea and bob is sitting in the pitlane waiting for you then thats your fault.

Thoughts?

There should be no split in B spec and A spec endurance. The whole point of B Spec imo should be to train bob to be my teammate for endurance races. In real life drivers dont drive 24 in a row...Why cant bob come in? And if he is horrible its my own fault for not training him enough?

That would give a point to Bob, not just for prize cars.

You were able to do that in GT4, I can't understand Kaz changed it.

(And no mid-race saves.:grumpy:)

I would love that feature! In real 24 h races the team has 3 drivers.. That would be awsome! Would be great to catch up for Bobs mistakes :)

You mean like in GT4? Yes that would be nice but it would change the game back to mixed A-Spec and B-Spec again completely removing B-Spec point in the game making the over all length of the game a lot shorter and kind of pointless after you beat the A-Spec mode unless you like to play online and able to connect there.

I never knew you could save race progress in races unless you're talking about exiting the race and choosing the save option.

Sorry if my post was confusing. I meant that we were able to switch with B-Spec Bob in endurance races in GT4.

Haha, I totally agree with having the Bobs helping you drive the 24h events. It's crazy that you have to do it on your own. Besides, everybody is just gonna pause the game and continue later.

However, I do think it would be cool if you could get 2 of your friends to come over and help you out. Drivers could tag out and hit the hay. 👍

I agree to!! Glad some of you do as well. I brought this subject up in an earlier thread and got a load of rude and sarcastic replies. Being able to switch would be much more realistic and sensible :)
