Have you tried it yet? Is the car fun to drive and how is the sound?
Okay...I did a quick 5 laps with stock settings at Yamagiwa and it handles like a MR car. Sounds good to me and cockpit view is nice but I don't like to drive with that view. I would need to slap a tune on it for full enjoyment...👍

I can't remember if it was GT5 or GT6 but there was, I think, a license test at Rome with this car and I had a devil of a time getting gold but I fell in love with the car by the time I achieved a gold time. Pure nostalgia for me....:)

Does anyone know if there's a button trick with the rotating prize cars, e.g. in gt3 you could press L1 R1 and x, when the silhouette of the prize car was highlighted and you won that car.

Just had a few weeks off of GT but last I was on I got 2 duplicate cars in a row, car I started the game with was the rally spec Focus and the last two daily cars were duplicates of this. As if 1 duplicate wasn't bad enough to get the same car two days in a row when the 1st day was already a duplicate.

I've only played about a week but I've been getting some good stuff, and no dupes so far. Honda Sports VGT, Hyundai N 2025, Lancer Evo Gr4, Ferrari Italia 458, Fittipaldi EF7, Citroen GT Gr4, Viper Gr4, C7 Corvette stingray. So I'm pretty happy.

Since then I've got the Mustang Gr B rally car, and the Alpine vision GT. Still on a roll

Wonder if the new cars that arrive next week will be in the gift car rotation.?

Has anyone gotten the VW samba van.? I didn't know that was in the game till I nearly collided with an AI one at Alsace.

Daily Workout #87- Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track (35th double)
Unfortunately, my lucky streak has ended today, with a duplicate of my starter car.....
I wanted the Aston Martin Vantage Gr.4, in order to keep my streak going.....
And by the way, I'm getting hyped for those 10 new cars, including the Toyota Supra!

And i wonder what the price for the historic race cars will be, i suspect 20 mill, so it will be a lot of grinding for credits, i have 20 mill now, but i want all 3 :D, i have to see if i have patient to wait for them to turn up in the daily workout reward, but if i do have to grind for credits i think i will hit level 50 in no time, since i'm very close to level 45 right now :) and of course i want the other 7 cars on top of that :O , but this would keep me occupied with GT S throughout february or beyond :).

I doubt it, probably is gonna be way less than 20 million credits, or, if that's the case, obviously needing a lot of grinding, or waiting for the Daily Workout roulette if it shows up....
We're gonna have to wait and see....

Is there any possibility that the spreadsheet can be shared in a view only manner for non moderators? I would be very interested in seeing the results of this research.

Furthermore I would like to make a suggestion to broaden the scape of this research, if this isn't too much effort of course. I wonder if all the cars that can be given can also be given in all available colours.
If this information is available, combined with the probability of cars being given (like suggested earlier) then we can find out how random the spins really are.
If all this information available then you can see correlations between price, colour and probability of a car being given. This information could lead to discovering how random car gifts truly are.

YES! 👍👍 This will hold me over until the Shelby shows up...:)

Well, when they add the new cars they will be added to the spreadsheet of course :D
Link below for those who haven't seen it yet...

@Bass Addict I've had the Countach THREE times on the award spindle without it being awarded :banghead: Irritates me "To The Bone".

@BD Ford The VW was awarded early on after its release, there's proof of it somewhere back in the thread a few pages. You seem to have a "Phobia" about that car though.

@David Bailey someone reckoned earlier that hitting the X button worked but I've tried it a few times and it never seems to work for me. So it's just "Word of Mouth".

@oinksnork The spreadsheet below has already been shared with a few. I'm adding a column for colours to see whether we can catch them all on the Daily Award Pokemon style. However, I think to work out the probability of a car being awarded must be nigh on impossible without a substantial sample and I don't think we would ever be able to get enough of a sample for that.

If you want to see the spreadsheet, send me a request and I'll add you. I like to "Give the People What They Want". Editors are limited though to avoid too many **** ups

(Rest In Peace Jim Rodford, I had the pleasure of seeing you playing on the Phobia tour when at University in 1993).

Just got the SRT Hellcat... Again... In blue...

Jazz Blue or B5 Blue??? Details, details...:p

Actually, I've now completed the spreadsheet fully and there are 808 different combinations of car and colour (soon to be increased!). I've "ticked off" the ones that are ONE COLOUR only and the ones I have myself.

One irritating thing - when you get the award car, it doesn't tell you what colour it is! The only way to find out appears to be to get in the car and go to your garage where it shows up bottom left.

Aside from keeping the spreadsheet updated, I'm probably going to start adding some top speeds to it (and 0-60mph times if I can find a way to somehow measure it but I don't think that's currently possible?).

Actually it's B5. Thanks for noticing that detail :D

Colours guys and gals. We need the colours to keep @oinksnork quiet :D:lol:

@David Bailey I tried holding L1 R1 and then pressing X tonight and it worked. Previously I'd just pressed X on its own. There wasn't a car I wanted today though lol. I'll try it again tomorrow and report.

@IngRobNy @Bass Addict @GTPHugo008 @alcGTR please test this too. Hold L1 and R1 as soon as the wheel starts then press X when you have the right car highlighted.

Okay, i'm going to test it tomorrow, just started Sniper Elite 4, so i'm not in GT S anymore, but the Nissan was black :).

It worked! L1 and R1 when the carousel started and i pressed X when the Lexus RC F was highlighted and that was the car i got, so today's reward was the Lexus RC F in the colour Radiant Red Contrast Layering :gtpflag:, but i have this car already, so it's deleted :O :).

Daily Workout #88- Toyota 86 GRMN (36th double)
Funny thing, I actually bought this car last week, just to help me climbing up.....
I didn't do the trick above at all, because there were not many great cars there, plus, those four cars in today's roulette, already owned them all....
But, once the roulette popped up, I actually pressed L1 and R1 buttons at the same time, but after I saw the cars in there that I actually have, it was not worth it anyway....
Hopefully, tomorrow the trick will be more worth it.....
