I see, thanks! I'm too bad of a driver to take part into such a competitive event though xD

Strax... You will be surprised... I only started doing online racing since 7 weeks ago. Doing these time trials learns you a lot about the tracks and cars.

In the thread of the week the more "seasoned" drivers will help out with either a tune, or driving tips. And you will get the daily workout quicker without online racing for instance. And watching other peoples replay's after the week is over, most of the times the picture gets more clear. :)

Its just like the dr rating, you will get "stacked up" with friendly folks at you're level. Just give it a try, but don't be afraid, you will get hooked :yuck:.
I can understand that it can be intimidating, especially the special event on 24 nurb course (i am also a bit worried on that one), but you don't have to do the race after the time trials. (although you will find the highest sportsmanship in these races)

You know what, get you're sfr, go on Brands Indy, do a few laps and look in the thread / leaderboard where you're splits would end you up. No obligations for you. But I am curious what 2 splits you will have.

Back on topic, sorry mods, the timetrial side on the forum is very cool for way more reasons then these:gtpflag:

Today I was gifted with a French iron of a veegeeteee type. :grumpy:

Daily Workout #125- Aston Martin V8 Vantage S (58th double) Sadly, all the cars in today's roulette were none of the new 12 cars, and pretty much all duplicates.....And, I did the Circuit Experience in the Monza Circuit, and my prize car, was yet again, another damn duplicate, the Nissan Concept 2020 VGT, this time in a brown colour......I'm just hoping for the F1 car pretty soon....

Got the Ferrari 330 (20,000,000) gifted today to my big surprise.

It is really nice to drive. I took it around the Willow Springs with super soft tires and it felt amazing. Actually much better than the Enzu and LaFerrari in my mind with respect to handling.
And the sound .... amazing....

Its been a good day ... :-)

I'd probably cry after seeing where my splits classify. Trust me, I love GT and have been playing since the first, but I'm bad. And I play with the DS4.

But, back on topic: first of all, Monza Circuit Experience. The Temple of Speed gifted me this baby girl...how do I love McLarens :bowdown:

And now, for the Daily Workout...it's a lovely car, one of my favourite GT racers of all time...but it's a dupe :( gonna keep it just to try and make a livery for it.

I'm not much of a money earner at the mo in GTS, so getting the new F1500T-A (White, Black & Red) as the DW prize was a surprise today. Got another Fittipaldi VGT (yellow) for the Monza Circuit Experience, glad I didn't get another Genesis.
PD, if you're reading, please give us some ability to trade these duplicate cars in for money or mileage or even another car of a similar price, like 3 dupes worth 350,000Cr each, traded for one new 350,000Cr car.

Question for IngRobNy: would you promptly delete the duplicates?
Hahaha, yes i would, i only need 1 of each car, i delete all duplicates, all VGT cars and other cars i don't want, like the fictive Gr. 3/Gr. 4 and Gr. B cars although, i bought the Toyota FT-1 VGT since PD "forces" me to drive it in GT League :O .

There are two additional minor considerations. It's probably a glitch imported from GT6 but cars appear to wear out. People have noticed some small HP drops after driving thousands of kilometres.

If that is the case, i will just sell the used car and buy a new one :).

Also, duplicates can be used in Scapes to place the same model multiple times within the image.

True, but i'm not into the scapes thing, so it's not a problem for me, i just race my cars in single player, so i don't need duplicates ;).

Been saving my pennies for either the jag or Ferrari (was up to 10 mill) blew a mill on the single seater today (which I was not expeting in the dlc :) ) took it out for a spin and was gifted the xj13.

A good GT day. ......except for the horrible performance at blue moon infield

I got the samsung galaxy of race cars today

Never used it on sport races because i hate using whats popular.

LMAO! :)
But hey, I agree with you, I also prefer to use the underdog and less popular car brands for online races. That Jaguar Gr.4 was a favourite of mine when everyone and their mum were driving Porsche, VW and/or Renault.
