Opel Manta rally car, been in a stock version and I nearly shat my pants!

Would love to see one on GT5!

Watching the 24h LeMans. Now there are Forza billboards up where all of the Gran Turismo ones were at Le Mans!! Not good. Not good!!

PD better get there asses in gear before we have a complete Forza takeover:( We all need more content then what has been given to us. I really hope after this race and GT Academy is over they made the wait worth our while.

PD your loyal fans are counting on you!!!!

Next year we'll have Gran Turismo Advertisments instead of Forza's and who knows, maybe GT6 announcement in TGS 2013.

That would be nice....

What I'd want is for there to be a big push one day to give us a LeMans as DLC (Condensed into 16 cars). IMHO it wouldn't be too mammoth a task if it was broken down as follows:
GT cars - 2 Different Corvettes, 2 Different Astons, 2 Different 458s.
LMP2 Cars - Give us the GT Academy lads car(/s) and another
LMP1 Cars - 2 Etrons, 2 Ultras, 2 Toyotas, 2 Privateers (Lolas?).

That'd be roughly 8 new models with some variations between them as well as some models already covered to a lesser/greater extent by pre-exisitng GT5 models.

Then we could run Le Mans by ourselves, not quite the full grid :P but enough to make us feel part of it.... I'd be willing to pay a reasonable amount for that lot as a DLC as apart from NASCAR we can't recreate any races.

Ford Fiesta Pikes Peak Version
2009-Ford-Fiesta-Pikes-Peak-Rallycross-480.jpg
The Ford Fiesta is by far and away the most iconic car Ford has produced yet. As one of the best selling supermini's ever, the sixth generation Fiesta shows no signs of waning in popularity. So why does it have a wing big enough to chop someone's head off clean again? Because as part of Ford's Get to Know America Tour, where the Fiesta would be selling there for the first time ever, it would participate in the car version of hill climbing: The Pikes Peak.

In order to cope with the race to the clouds, where they reach nearly 1500 meters through 12.4 miles, the car had to be literally gutted from the inside out. So it features an 800 horsepower 2 liter 4 cylinder, the said wing, the carbon silhouette body and suspension developed by both Öhlins and Ford of Europe’s Team RS engineers, who are responsible for Ford’s FIA World Rally Championship program.

Though the cars were driven by rally legend Marcus Gronholm and veteran rallycross driver Andreas Eriksson, it didn't get the warmest welcome. Gronholm's turbo cut out 5km from the top of the hill and Andreas rolled his car on race day, showing just how difficult the Race to the Clouds can be.

It seems that the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is home to the absolutely insane cars. After all, thanks to seemingly no rules whatsoever in the Unlimited class, you can do whatever is absolutely necessary. This is no exception to the rule.

Designed by Rhys Millen Racing, who are famous for their works in Formula Drift, this shares absolutely nothing in common with the base Genesis. It has the 3.8 litre Hyundai Lambda V6, which is bored to 4.1 litres. Combined with the turbocharger, it cranks an skull crushing 750 horsepower. Skull crushing, as it weighs just 839 KG's. Other details on this car include a chromoly frame and roll cage, a Weismann semi-automatic AWD transmission, Tilton racing clutch, carbon-fiber Brembo brakes and pads and Toyo Proxy tires.

The driver for this car is Rhys Millen himself, father of legendary Rod and a stunt driver for films like Fast Five, Herbie: Fully Loaded and the remake of Dukes of Hazzard.

'eh? :odd: By what stretch of the imagination is it the most iconic car ford has ever made?

Where are you copying this from?

From the notes of the Fiesta:
"2011 marks 35 years since the 1976 launch of the Ford Fiesta – a car that has achieved iconic status in Europe and around the world."

Yeah, I'm expecting myself to be hit by a Ford GT sometime soon.

I have expressed my desire for these before but after this weekends 24h du Mans I want them more than ever!

Audi R18 e-tron quattro
Audi R18 Ultra
Toyota TS030 HYBRID
Nissan Deltawing.

Please make it happen!

Tracks-- THE ONES FROM GT4

Cars--
All group C Cars premium
Lancia stratos (new and old)
ferrari 288 GTO
Ferrari F70 (once released)

NISSAN DELTAWING!

I would like a muscle car package that included a 1960 - 62 Slant Six Hyper-Pak Dart, but I'd have a better chance of getting struck by lightning while holding a winning mega millions lottery ticket than ever seeing that happen.

Tip fantastic! But for a car of this quality, we need Pikes Peak Hill Climb back in GT5. It is an amazing track. And with this car would be even more fantastic. Fully supported the idea!

Amazing!!!
