Nice, but there are too many for PD to handle. I think these would be managable:

Aventador
Koenigsegg
Veron Supersport
CTR3
Masetari
Aston Martin One77

since most of these brands are already in the game, par from the Koenigsegg.

No. I want slower cars. Volkswagen is good, but what about some fast Saabs or Volvo's?

By the way, they look ugly.

This thread is silly... :p

There's no way PD is going to license all of those other car manufacturers into the game, even as DLC. PD would be needing donations to probably do such a thing.

Just sayin' by the way...

They would be pretty cool.

I know, where's the 360 Modena, I was surprised they never added that, and yeah, more american Cars... GT90 Concept, '70 HEMI 'Cuda, 57' Bel Air and Nomad....... the list goes on!

Bel Air! *Drool*

Aston Martin One-77

^she may not be quite as fast as some of these other monstrocities, but is included based on exclusivity and a non-aspirated motor making 750hp. ...Proper.
How? Is it an electric car or what?

Their called Supercars not Hypercars. Where in the hell are people getting the term "Hyper" from?
Hyper Hyper! ;)

Whilst I agree they won't add cars like that I hardly think PD are in need of any cash with 7 million sales of the game and 1 million sales of the first DLC.

You can add the Lamborghini Reventon and Ferrrari FXX to your list of Hyper-cars!

So, quick family sedans? Skoda octavia perhaps? I would rather have hyper cars, because they are really quick and hard to control, giving you that excitment, which they are supposed to give. It would be alot more fun to race these, because you would need some skill.(obviously talking about no racing softs)

And i agree, the hyper cars are ugly, but that is there intent, not too look ugly, but to look outrageous, unique, shocking, you take one look and say wow! Thats fast! So much much that they look ugly.

And i reckon, to stand out from other games, they should atleast get the Zenvo, because it looks pretty cool.

Rudenut
Elise gt1, esprit gt#, gtolm, cerbera lm......and all the race mods

Oooh, elise GT1. I remember that being a b***h to drive.

I would like it, if they could atleast put in one premium Australian car, the newest commodore would be sufficient. When they added the Falcon and commodore in GT4, it was such a great moment.

Good list, but the Huayra belongs to EA for now. Also, I doubt we'll see Porsche before GT6, and the new 918 is pretty much the last Porsche I'd want to see.

Even though I'm a massive GTR fan, I want PD to stop putting loads of GTR's in the game and put more premium European and American cars in the game.

When you change the exhaust on a standard it changes cosmetically. I want big fart cans on my JDM drift cars, à la real life JDM drift machines :)

Second that love single exit exhausts! the bigger the better the only car right now that has a nice JDM exhause it the R32 GTR.

PD haze to make an body shop where you can edit decaks on your cars and change the soumd of your exhaust and more rims and spoilers would be really cool.

I know I wouldn't purchase it. High PP online races have always been the worst ones in my case, due to a typically low age userbase for them. I don't even like much those high PP "hypercars" anyway. So... No
I don't care what other people use. Usually in trackdays if there's no PP restrictions in trackdays kids just jump in an X2010 and think to be very smart. I guess they'll keep doing it no matter what. So yes, definitely that is somehting I would buy, even excluding all those cars that can't be included for licence issues. But tracks are still a bigger priority now.

Oh dear, another uninspiring hyper/supercar request, okay if you want me to add a suggestion, why not go for the very first supercar ever?
I would take this instead of all your suggestions and it would add something not currently found in GT5 or any videogame (unlike any supercar which basically offers the same experience albeit in a different package), heck, they've already got the brand license so bring it on as DLC.
That thing is good for Museum Cards only. :sly:

The precise reason why Gran Turismo has always stood out from other games, is because it hasn't focused on hypercars. If PD start putting loads of hypercars in the game, then Gran Turismo will just become yet another generic racing game. The appeal of Gran Turismo has always been the ability to push normal, everyday cars to their limits around a track.

This isn't directed at you by the way, it's a general comment directed towards everyone who is requesting hypercars and disrespecting everyday cars and the GT series' history. It seems GTPlanet is now full of hypercar-obsessed children who have only ever played GT5 and who don't understand that GT's popularity lies in its everyday cars, not the overhyped hypercars.

(I know that may seem harsh, but it annoys me that many people on GTP seem to have missed the point of the GT series and I am very worried that PD will start pandering to these people.)

There's nothing wrong with super cars, there's nothing wrong with normal cars. That's what makes GT5 so great, the MIX.

Basically your point is: the real GT fans will be more respectful and unique only using normal cars. Supercars = evil, Supercars = stupid. The Holy Gran Turismo should have only have everyday cars. And lot of other academical bla bla bla...

At the end of the day you are just bashing people because of something they like. It's like someone blame you for the team you support. Your zero-tolerance attitude isn't very different from all those kids you see online, the only difference is you, and people like you try to act cultured and snob.

I was like 6 when I played GT2 so I don't remember many cars. :dopey:

i was about 8, but since i used those cars all the time, i remember them well.

Elise gt1, esprit gt#, gtolm, cerbera lm......and all the race mods

nice choices

Spec Miata (NA)

LF9.jpg

Why? Because it would be insanely popular—especially in the online racing arena. Plus, PD already has a premium Miata modeled, so modifying it for Spec would be a simple task. The car could be available in several generic liveries, each paintable with in-game colors.

Cool! :)

What about Eleanor ?

Classic, reliable and attractive to the eye.

An Eleanor would be awesome!

See,

I can tell where all of you are coming from... I cant stand the supercars in GT5, not because I'm a 'GT purist' and would rather they only had little euro hatch-craps. But because I, personally, have nothing to compare it to. The Murcialago to me feels like it is driving on ice, that may, however, be how it handles. I dont know.

I have driven lower powered cars so appreciate how it feels to thrash something like a ford focus ST around a track and, to me at least, that is why i play GT games. The sense of 'I wonder if a focus can actually do 165MPH?'

Dont get me wrong, I jump in the race cars, thrash them to shreds and I enjoy it, but i find myself entering shuffle rooms frequently and leaving when the person in charge goes "500PP base limit" because suddenly you lose the entertainment factor in my eyes.

As I said previously, I can understand why you would want the 'hypercars' (although I strongly disagree with the term. An Enzo, Aventador, Konigsegg, etc. they are all just supercars. Hypercars is something daft created by marketers to make their supercar sound better) however, there are many other games that focus purely on those cars. I mean look at NFS games these days. Most of the cars have a price tag of over £100,000 and I wouldnt want to own most of them. In GT5 it's great to be able to go to the used dealership, find some historic gem (e.g. the E-type, Sylvia S13, Audi RS4 Avant etc), clean it up and drive it how the manufacturer designed it to be driven, hard!

You say that GT5 should be all about driving cars you would never drive like that, but you're telling me you'd thrash the hell out of a Jag E-type if you owned one? nah, you'd care about it too much. otherwise you wouldnt have one.

Sorry to waffle for ages, but that's my opinion on the whole debate.

I think you have misinterpreted what he said. He had never said supercar are bad, or even indirectly for all I can tell. He said more supercars is bad. He's also saying the everyday cars make GT what it is, not exactly that it should only have those kind of cars.

Really, you sound like the snob here.

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

Well about half of those cars I've been DYING for.. so hopefully this guages enough interest to catch the Kaz-Man's eye, can we get a sticky? ;) ahaha
