Top Gear Ford Transit Nuburgring 10 minute challenge (beat Sabine's Schmidts 00:10:xx time from the show. Set up Viper lead car if possible...
Top Gear Reasonable Price Car standing lap with Leader board... preferably the Liana for comparison to F1 drivers times
Garage accesible from Track in Testing/Practice Modes
Massive expansion to A/B spec race series. It is an absolute crying shame how few race combinations they put into GT 5... couldn't be that hard to put together different combinations. Absolutely asinine that in each category there are not more options than you can shake a stick at to drive ANY car you fancy at any level of competition.
Practice Race mode where you can define the field, allow you to use cars from your garage piloted by your Bob's. Don't care if Bob can increase skill or not. Think he should be able to if you are actively putting in lap times without hitting walls (rubber banded controller).
Either solve the ringer problem in the random field selection process or give access to the garage from inside the race. Way to common to end up bringing a Knife to a gunfight or a Nuclear weapon to a tea party trying to guess what will give you a competitive race.
Instead of Tire restrictions on A/B spec events just have the field race using minimum (stock selections) or match the user.
Tire wear and fuel usage should be default on in GT mode... perma tire/fuel in arcade or practice/testing modes only.
Remove invisible walls on open track sections... at least put it a reasonable distance away from the track to allow more realistic 'offs'
Institute strict leave the track detection for TT penalties ala iRacing. Tired of wall bouncing, grass mowing TT idiots. Two wheels off at same time = lap dq. Wall contact = lap dq.
TT needs to move to average over a number of consecutive incident free laps
Auto car/modifications need to improve. Wheels/Tires need to get to size/weight information with PSI changes. Add Independent 4 corner suspension tuning with corner weight information. Add ECU tuning details... or at least require ECU tuning after modifications (ie changing mods requires re-flash. Remove ECU tuning for cars older than ECU. Remove driving aides or at least default to off on cars that pre-date them (Traction Control and ABS). Brake fade and related modifications to avoid need to be incorporated.
Save driving aide preferences, default preference settings for any first time to a track/car but remember track/car settings individually.
Better stats... should be easy. First keep individual car records. Best Practice Lap Times per course, race times per course etc... More than top 10 records on each course. Ability to filter, for example filter to only allow the top time for any given model or for each specific car in your garage. Ability to remove individual records. Ability to see only RWD, Race Car, FF, MR, results from Performance Point max/min etc...
Mid championship saves. Allow exit and rejoin championship between races. Allow for much longer championships.
Walk around garage/museum collection? Perhaps tied to favorits limit? Shot of redbull hanger with lots of cars makes me really want to be able to wander through my 'garage' in first person.
Random tack day traffic on any practice session (allow disable for track to yourself). Especially important for the 'Ring'.
Multi Class championship races. IE field of 12 has 4 cars in one class etc... Have this championship at multiple levels where when you first race you are in low class, and eventually you race in the higher classes. Enable entry of Bob in a garage car in another (not competing with you) class. Could be VERY cool for allowing access to endurance races earlier... and create a better experience for real world races like LeMans which are multi class races. Be awesome if the car count could go up though assume that is a next gen console/game version. Also make for a more enjoyable B spec experience for those that don't want to arm chair race. Require race to continue until Bob finishes if you finish first if you want Bob points/advancement etc...
Eh... could go on forever. Enough for now.
