When I go online, i like to race with unsuspecting/not so popular/ or even sleeper cars..

This can be tricky as some low end 80s japanese car might or might not make 500pp (as is a good bases for some good street car limitation races) .. The 70 240zg (thought popular in real life) isnt that big of a deal in GT, and fully tuned it really couldn't even accelerate with alot of other cars online imo.

I fully modded the 84 fairlady z z31 , i think it got around over 500hp, but just wasnt cutting it imo.. I modded the 87 lotus espirt, it makes decent power, but it gets really lightweight which made it pretty decent imo.

I been meaning to try one of the 4 door Aristo/GS300s and other 4 door cars just to see their performance potential, hopefully some other guys here have experience getting awesome performance out of sleeper or uncommon cars.

Try the Mazda Demio GL-X '99. Makes around 250 BHP, and in black, looks fairly standard. I'm still working on the gearbox trying to make it taller but keeping the acceleration, but it handles quite well.

The Storia X4 is a great little machine at around 425pp. Not much top end but is a demon in the twisty stuff.

I use the Audi S4 and Ford RS200 for my 500pp class street car racing. Both pretty good contenders, and bought somewhat underdog/obscure enough so people don't know what to expect. I'll post my S4 tune, it's pretty sick

I don't really have all that much for street cars since i haven't really played online a lot... but at the higher end of cars (i think 550-ish) the LM Subaru is really strong on tracks like High Speed Ring and Grand Valley.. Strong top speed and very good handling makes it a nice little sprint car ^^

I've tuned a Mercedes 300SL to be somewhat of a beast. It's pretty nice to drive, but not the fastest car of its pp range. What I like most about it is the "aero parts", which basically are removed bumpers...

The Alfa Giula TZ2 of course, awesome in every aspect. Not the best acceleration, but really nice in the corners. Awesome engine sound with african drum guy in the back seat.

When racing in an 400PP room try using the Premium Mazda Atenza. This car is awesome to drive. I win 9 out of 10 times

This.

I've got a race-prepped one that I bring into 450-ish pp races and it's just great. with the physics online being a bit more oversteery, the heavy understeer you sometimes get with the high bhp FWD cars is neutralised even more than through my setup.

Also, Kusabi Concept is a great underdog, fully tuned with racing softs.

That 1970 Mitsubishi mirage hatchback best sleeper in the game, 278 hp 718 kg with full peak boost hitting max psi.

Find it.

some good stuff here.

For drifting I like a fully stock non-premium C3 corvette (cant think of the year off my head) even needs an oil change but does really good drifting without needing any tuning, in fact I try to find stock cars to drift without touching the tuning stuff..

I just maxed out a Honda Sports 800, got like 440 ish pp

I did a 1:09 at tsukuba ,I could probably get it better if I used my G25 but i just used DS3. Its a dog to get over 100mph, I havent played with the gearing yet though I bought the adustible transmission but I figure gearing it for speed will mess with its acceleration.
Kind of a waste of money imo. Maybe I will use it for drifting or set up some Tiny car battles.. I put a big fat GT Wing on it hahah

I did buy a Honda Odyssy van, 4wd.. tomorrow Ill see what it can do.
Also just bought the Audi S4, but i know that thing has performance potential.

The Nissan Skyline R31 GTS-R is good for over 500pp. It's incredible when it's maxed out. And the HID (or are they white?) high beams look great!

I beat an NSX, Corvette, Imprezza, Viper and RX7 on Monza with the toothless Mustang convertible in an online shuffle race.

Got to love going into a 550pp room and brandishing my dark blue Jensen Interceptor, with a stock exhaust and definately no wing.

Looks just so relaxed when its racing and rather amusing passing people who have assaulted the power limited in their 458's...

Daihatsu Mira will max out at 512PP with a Mid RPM Turbo. Granted, it doesn't feel like it, but still, it's a total ball to try and drive at such a level.

really the Mira gets up there? My only grip is that Ive tried modding some small K cars before and even though they get decent PP, they handle awesome but come to acceleration, stock cars in the 400pp range will still destroy them in top speed

I have now moved onto a Mazda Demio Sport '03 with 260BHP. It just grips and grips as if it is on rails. Also, my Audi Pikes Peak is bit of fun, considering it tries to fall over at every corner.....

^ YES! The Lexus GS300 got 699hp after fully tuning it. Especially without using the Vertex Edition (with the bodykit), people underestimate it. 👍

Also, the Chrysler 300C is incredible with 772hp. On tracks with long straights like Le Mans, it bullets past sports car making others slightly annoyed in their Ferraris and Lambos at 600pp. :sly:

Lets see; my best currently is my 215bhp supercharged Yaris RS '07, its surprised quite a few sportscars in the corners and even more so when I blast past them on the straights using the wave of Torque!!

...and another thing, any muscle car you can get to corner like a newer and lighter car will definitely surprise people. :dopey:

That's not a Honda S800 its the Toyota Sports 800:tdown:

My favorite sleeper car is the Honda Odyssey. 495pp, and did 7.17 to 7.18 consistent laps in Nur north. It's painted gold chrome for the ultimate riced out pleasure:dopey:

Another cool car is the Honda City Turbo II. Fully tuned to 525pp with over 250ps and only 666kg, this thing flies and turns so good even though an FF since its so light and the wheel base is short. This baby was white to begin with, but I coated it with Championship White. If I had a Type R badge I'd slap it on
