Your favourite exhaust note

Simple question really:

What's your favourite car based purely on the sound it produces? And why?

For me it's definitely the Ferrari F430, purely stock, it sucks if you don't have a subwoofer though. The 4-6k RPM range in a higher gear sounds absolutely amazing, especially in a tunnel :D

But it's a S2000 Turbo something.. Amuse?

Awsome sound!! But don't know if it's the best sounding car...

Its the Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo. The all around sound of that car is amazing. Turn all the music off and drive. You get the exhaust note, the turbo whistle building up then... psh next gear haha. I love it.

Second favorite is my fully tuned '96 Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo. With the racing exhaust, that V6 sounds MEAN! The only color you can find it in is black from the UCD, so i had to buy the 96 Mits GTO SL to get the Mariana Blue Pearl and paint the Twin Turbo that color. I have bought the same car same color in every GT game since the original GT.
 
the Ford GT40 race car really sounds like a nuclear bomb.
and the lexus LFA sounds like it could explode any moment:scared:
 
McLaren MP4-12C with a sports exhaust. It's still convenient after some hours of endurance racing.

btw, i dont think exhaust "note" is the best way to describe what youre talking about.
"sound" is a much better word.

edit:i see youve got "sound" in your first post. should change the title to make it more accurate.

interestingly, for notes, check out the X1 at rest, change gears and you'll hear different notes.
im sure you could make up some melodies with it.
The X1s the only car ive heard these, im sure the others do it too, havent bothered at all with other cars.
